We went in (12.27.2024) and found a copy of Diablo 4 labelled at New and for 9.99. When we went to check out with the game it rang up as 59.99 and the employee said they were on a price change freeze and could not honor the list price and that she would be fired if she adjusted the price in the system to match the sticker - the price on that sticker had no expiration date on it - and just set the game to the side. It is very disappointing to have stood in line for 45 minutes behind a mountain of trade ins for something my husband and I were excited for only to be told pushing on the issue could cost someone their job. We did purchase Jumanji, but decided to return it within the hour. I don't want to support a company that would fire an employee over honoring the price tag. We will not...

Bought a new Xbox and a controller. Couple of games and other Misc items. My wife loves mine craft and its a game we can enjoy together, hence the second controller. Unfortunately, I had to travel quite a distance to find what I was looking for and I bought so much stuff the controller was left out of the bags and didn't realize it until I got home. I called and asked what my options were since I was not local and literally the only option was to drive back unless I wanted to eat 79$ I hesitantly did so but only for a refund as I went out later that night and bought a controller from Walmart. If it was possible to leave zero stars, I would. I came in on December 8th not long after they opened and there were two female employees working inside. They said nothing when I walked in and completely ignored me. The heavier set employee proceeded to follow me around the store like I was some kind of criminal. I thought it was just a coincidence at first so I just kept moving to different parts of the store and each time I looked up, she was there. Was planning to make some Christmas purchases but decided to just leave because it was super uncomfortable and the staff is just rude. I’ll just buy online or get my items from another store because it was ridiculous. I knew Game Stop didn’t pride themselves on hiring decent people but...
