Thanks again, AT&T
Rude "customer service" staff I stopped at this store to get a copy of my installment agreement from the IPhone I had purchased through AT&T next because my Apple Id had been compromised and I needed proof of purchase. The rep I spoke to had an attitude from the moment I told her why I was there, immediately correcting me when I asked for a copy of the agreement, which is what Apple directed me to ask for as proof. She said, "I can give you a receipt, not a copy of the agreement" in a condescending and irritated tone. I told her if it had the info I needed then that was fine. She pulled up my account and couldn't find the receipt, saying I must have bought it from a non-corporate store and I would have to go to one to have the receipt printed. I asked if there was any way she could help, since AT&T is the company I paid for my phone and current service every month for the last 17 years, and she scoffed and told me "As I have said, twice, you have to go to an authorized retailer". No offer to make a call someone else, no offer for any other help, basically I am on my own, good freaking luck. I then asked if I could just buy a new device, paying in full for a new Iphone so that I could just be finished with this three week ordeal only to be told no, she couldn't sell me the phone outright, that I would have to go to Apple if I didn't want to do the installment plan. Which is exactly what I am doing today, will not purchase another device from AT&T again. HORRIBLE customer service, if you could even...
Read moreThis AT&T location and customer service is awful!! If I could give it no stars I would. I made an appointment online for 10:30 am. I walked into the store at 10:36 as the road is torn up and I had to go into the Hobby Lobby parking lot, turn around and then wait for the light to get to their parking lot. Needless to say, I walked into the store and stood there for almost 10 mins before I actually had to address one of the people sitting right next to the door if there was someone that could help me. She said they were all busy (there were 3 people) 2 were helping people and one was sitting down on the phone. She told me she could check me in but it checked me in as a walk in and there were 4 people in front of me. I proceeded to tell her that i had an appointment at 10:30 and she said she was trying to correct it but it wouldn’t let her. Just about then the store manager, Bill Webster, came over and I told him I had an appointment at 10:30. He proceeded to tell me that because it was after 10:40 that I was checked in that I had to wait behind the walk in people. I told him I was at the door for about 10 mins before someone even checked me in AND I had to ask for help. He told me there was nothing they could do. I walked out!! This kind of customer service is getting more common. There is none!! I went home and called with Woodstock store! Completely different response. I told them what happened and the manager told me to come in and she would immediately take care of me!! They took care of me right away because of what I experienced. I did call the Canton store and ask for the managers bosses name and he proceeded to tell me he didn’t have one. Maybe that’s why you don’t have to deliver customer service. But if you were my employee you would not be a manager!! AT&T you need to fix this even though you are a big company there is no excuse for this!! Awful customer service awful store! If you live in Canton make the trip and go to the...
Read moreThe reality of it is, my family and I have been using this AT&T store for years. Once we are ready for new phones, we will not be using AT&T ever again because of this store alone. I’m pretty rough on phones so we are always trying to look for the best deal or promotion to get me out of a broken phone and onto a new phone. Last year we were sold on the “next” upgrade program, being told that I’d be able to upgrade regardless of the condition of the phone. Came in last week and was told that was not true and the phone needed to be pristine. Amber told us that even though my phone was cracked front and back (I had the phone in hand) we could pay it off and get $1000 off a new iPhone. So I got it paid off and my iPhone arrived at my door a couple days later. Went to turn the phone in to be told that Amber had lied to me. The most we could get off the iPhone was $830. I explained what I had been told to the manager, that I had been mislead and already deleted all my information off the old phone etc. And his solution was instead of upholding our end of the deal and committing to what we told you, “we’ll just take the iPhone back” That would simply leave me back with a broken phone that I deleted so much information off of for nothing (certain things don’t transfer to iPhone: Notes, secure folder documents, certain apps etc)
At the end of the day, I’m constantly being lied to by the associates in this store and they do not EVER make it right or honor what they say. An employee will telling you something and by the time you figure out they’re lying, another will just tell you there is nothing they can do to help you. They all truly lack any accountability or sense of...
