Rewrote to make this clearer THE WORST OG I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE and i love OG in fact ive been to many throughout the us We’re new to the area so we tried the canton location. We will probably never go here again. The guy on the phone very sweet, helpful and when we came in he was also the same in person. He was the only one said anything. As are waiter is walking us to our table she stops us and says “hold on, it’s not clean” she then sweeps the floor to clean it. I’m thinking that the floors were only dirty and that the table was clean only to find out the table was not! So my kids are now eating off of a table that someone else ate on. the same server did not hand us our menus she sat them on the bar and moved on to another table . A few minutes later Server2, our server for the rest of the night says is there a reason this wasn’t clean & she reaches over us and barely clean it. i brush off i have 2 kids their immune systems are good but im patient to an extent when it comes to “mistakes”. A few min. Later she says is there a reason your menus were left. She comes a few minutes later and ask what do you want to drink and when i mention juice for my son she said sure “and then she said without me asking, do you want it watered down i said no she then said ARE YOU SURE and i said sure just a little bit of water” we were never asked do we want an appetizer i suggested it she comes back 15-20 min. later with it and it is disgusting/cold. The pita chips were burnt i mean everything was off. She then says are y’all ready to order we order the usual and my husband was asking about the eggplant she comes with our food about 15 minutes later and when i say this is the dryest, smallest portion i have ever seen at Olive Garden. My seafood Alfredo was bland, no sauce, and i got half my portion also the scallops were the smallest over ever seen. My husbands steak was so small and dry and he got hit medium rare. She then makes the comment “I’m surprised the even gave you that much” The whole time she kept refilling my husbands water he didn’t even ask her too but she never refilled mine. She never picked up our dishes and she then decided to bring out bread sticks half way through our dining and my husband salad I’m pretty sure you get those in the beginning. The whole time, no one is checking on us but i hear and see the 1st server checking on all the other tables. I’m not quick to say discrimination but based off multiple times throughout the night i feel as though it was. The 2nd server was very out of place many times. When i told her to come clear our table she saw i did not eat the spinach dip and she says “it wasn’t good or something along those lines i then respond with no and she said ill take it off and i said no its fine she walks away and says so fetch. Not sure what that mean. My kids food was disgusting. She never check on us she’s doing other things like cleaning behind the bar i had to go out my way and tell her. I’m not sure if this is a new thing but she charged for table games that my son w/ ASD barely played on we just needed to keep him quiet until we gave him our phone. She never once asked are we good, would we like dessert so We then call her back and ask for the check. She walks off i told my husband not to tip but this is the difference when you kill ppl with kindness my husband still gave her a 20% tip even though we were treated with disrespect. She didn’t say anything to us she left and as leaving the 1st server says have a good night. we from ga and we’ve been to many cities due to being military and this is probably the worst service we’ve ever gotten and if you don’t want me to assume i was discriminated against then we can’t blame it on a bad day bc they were happy, just not happy to serve us. Based off reviews I’m not the only one so you just don’t care then! Discrimination isn’t just about color btw. The 2 servers & chef to find another job or get retrained. I am not happy. To the owner pls put the same reply as on the first comment. I did not get a chance to...
Read moreThis is the trickiest 5 start review, follow me, so I arrive to the restaurant I'm being welcomed by the hostess sweet young lady she seat me in a table that is being recently wiped down felt wet and greasy with that funny smell that dirty rags has, I politely asked to be seated elsewhere and I was immediately relocated by the restaurant manager finest young man polite courteous just to smell the carpet rancid cheese scent and greasy table at this time I'm getting up ready to apologize because I just couldn't stay well the manager takes me to the Cafe area by the bar reassuring me I'll enjoy my meal so I said ok let seat! I was immediately welcomed by the bar tender young lady who brought me and dad drinks took our order and diligently brought our never ending salad and bread followed by out non italian food according to the italian people but what do they know they live without air conditioning anyway back to the point my pasta was delicious and my dad's too she gave us enough cheese to chocke a horse we requested her no to stop grinding that cheese until her arm was numb and she did, anyway long story short, I think they added the rancid smell to the restaurant in order to make it a lil more authentic and matching the odor with the italian cities a mix of cheese rancid greasy basement like I truly enjoyed the experience went from somewhat eeeh to a nice dinner! Food was awesome is a 5 star for sure and the management is a 10+ they are professional kind and super friendly!...
Read moreOk. Now, i usually love Olive Garden. So when I learned my husband was meeting his Mom here for a mother-son dinner, you bet your britches I called in a to-go order for him to bring home to me! We dont live close to this olive garden (or really any OG), so this was a first time here for me; and a rare treat in general!
I ordered the Chicken Marsala (Yum! My fave!) I.... can't really describe what I received accurately. It was sad. But I can tell you what it wasn't... it wasn't real chicken.
The marsala "sauce" itself tasted fine. I had the alfredo sauce witheld from my noodles in hopes of mixing the marsala "sauce" with it.. it was a no go. (I put sauce in parenthesis because there really was no sauce... it was more like flavored "chicken") but the chicken was F.U.N.K.Y, It was straight up highly processed, pre-cooked, previously frozen chicken. Comparable to taco bells "grilled chicken" in consistency and texture. Uniform, spongy, and gross. Bleh.
When I mentioned to my husband that my meal was gross, he told me his mother, who also ordered a chicken dish, mentioned her chicken was funky too; and shared the same sentiments as me.
I dunno what has changed with ya'lls chicken (it used to be REAL)... but you guys cant be charging this kind of money for that kind of chicken. Get your act together. 20$ in the TRASH. So...
