I've been to this location six times since moving to the area. I kept giving it the benefit of the doubt because I really like the food from Chipotle and Qdoba, but yesterday was my last visit. It's not worth it. On previous occasions I've had no issues with the food though the serving staff continuously displayed a poor attitude. I even had a guy roll his eyes and sigh because I ordered two burrito bowls with two people behind me. Like I was inconveniencing him to do his job! Yesterday, it was 12:35 pm, no one was behind me when I ordered and yet the person serving me was throwing the rice and beans and meat on the plate like her life was about to end. The bowl resulted in lots of rice, a handful of beans, and a few pieces of chicken and steak all sloppy... Some of it landed outside the bowl. The steak was mostly raw (I noticed when I got home and had to re-cook it) and I realized I went out of my way to pay for subpar ordering experience and food. These workers need supervision and training. They should take pride in what they are doing to ensure food is fully cooked before moving it to the trays. Fake your attitude if you have to, that's part of the job. Fake a smile, listen to the order and take your time platting it, make it look nice, take payment without attitude and thank the customer for stopping by. In Japan, at a fast food place, you are greeted when coming in and upon leaving; Each worker takes so much pride in what they are doing... they craft each burger or sandwich as if it was a piece of art. Their work personally represents them and the company. This should...
Read moreFun Fact: I really like the agua frescas, they're at least 50% of why I go in the first place.
Every time I've been to this Chipotle, it's been the same experience. I walk in, and there's only 4-5 people in line in front of me. Which is great, because sometimes you walk in to a Chipotle and there's 20-30. But don't let that fool you into thinking this experience will be quick.
Every employee looks like a zombie. Dead eyes, moving slowly, barely talks. Except one, who looks like the manager, and if she's not maybe she should be. She's buzzing around refilling food, wiping down the work area, then jumping in to the line to try to get things moving. Between the general lethargy and the bits of food everywhere, the place looks like a war zone. So maybe I always come in JUST after a big rush? But long enough after the rush that none of that crowd is still in the store? Maybe.
The same thing happened today, but I'm used to it by now. After 10-15 minutes, me and the 4-5 people in front of me have made it through the line! Only one of the ingredients I wanted was out this time, better than most times I'm here. Nice, just gotta fill my drink and I'll be on my way...
The agua fresca machine isn't on. Damn, that sucks. That's ok, I'll just get a lemonade. Nope, there's a sticky note saying that's broken. Wow, ok guess I'll settle for a coke. Put my cup under the machine....the ice is out. I didn't need that drink anyways.
Bonus points: I get home, sit down to enjoy my food, and the rice is crunchy.
Something clicked today, maybe I...
Read moreWent in with my family ordered 3 burritos all three steak the first which became my own they dumped the left over steak from lunch which wasnt even a spoon full. It looked like jerky. We had to wait for the other two burritos to get steak for theirs. When it came two spoons of steak. I said to the girl behind the register that tthe got fresh steak and alot more, she ignored me which upset me more so i said the same thing again to my son, then the girl behind the register said we can remake it if you want all snotty like, while pushing my already paid for food at me. Ofcourse i said no, although she told the 7 people behind the counter that i was rude through whisper sessions behind the counter and then just glare at my family, we were the only people sitting in our section, they were looking at us! ! As my family and i tried to eat. Right near the front, Even told the only person who looked like a manager through a semi whisper session who then looked at us and waved his hand in our direction, like whatever! I will not be back and will share this experience with family and friends to let them make the choice to return! Another question your store is dead empty and you have 7 people behind the counter with only 2 working and 5 teenagers doing nothing but gossiping! Why? Take your money elsewhere, the food us better at Moe's or willy''s anyway! No extra charge for chips and salsa. My family paid the same price as going to a nice sit down dinner... $37.25... all in all go elsewhere,...
