I wanted to buy an item that was part of a set, but I didn’t want the other part of the set. I went to the counter to make my other purchases and to ask if it was possible to purchase the one item without the rest of the set. A simple “no” would have been fine but this one lady was so rude to me about it. She explained to me why I couldn’t purchase one item in the set without the other in a way that was very condescending, as if she was trying to personally accuse me of costing the store money and that wasn’t okay at all of her to say or even insinuate. Especially since I was SPENDING money on other items and took her no as an answer instead of pushing back. I came to TJM specifically for that item that I could not get and was very disappointed that I could not purchase it, but I thanked her for explaining to me why I couldn’t even though I felt insulted by the way she explained it to me. I feel like she was trying to make me feel dumb on purpose for even asking the question and that’s no way to treat someone who is asking you a genuine question and spending money at your store. They made my mother cry, when she was so excited. We have never been so disappointed with a stores customer service before, like this. The manager was not friendly and could care less about our experience there. I truly never want to shop there again. Being a prior bra specialist at Victoria secret, I know how customers should be treated and spoken to at a store. Read moreI just wanted to give a shout out to the TJ Maxx in Canton marketplace. I never have to wait long in line because there are always enough open registers. There’s always someone nearby if I need help. There is never a wait for the fitting rooms. The shelves and racks are always full but not too full and the aisles are perfectly wide. Also, I just happened to be in there while they were having a team meeting by jewelry. It was so uplifting listening to the women leading the meeting and the response from the employees.
