My husband and I went here for dinner and let me first saying start by saying, everything was wonderful and would highly recommend this restaurant! On our way to the restaurant we were able to call ahead and get our name on a list so we did not have to wait as long. Our waitress, Kerry S. was sweet and attentive. Whenever we had a request for something, which we did a few times, she was always back promptly with what we needed. The complimentary bread and high quality butter, is always a bonus in my book. We ordered an appetizer of the stuffed mushrooms. I cannot describe how amazing these were, the flavor was spot on. Would love to get my hands on the recipe for these! We ate these so quickly forgot to take a picture, sorry. I ordered the sirloin with the shrimp. A mixed green salad and loaded baked potato for my sides. The taste was amazing. Longhorn has never disappointed me when it comes to a steak, and the shrimp were simply delicious. As for the baked potato, one of the best I’ve had in a long time, and if you think you cannot mess up a baked potato, you’re wrong I’ve had some pretty sorry ones in my restaurant experiences. The salad was fresh and I may be mistaken, but I think the ranch dressing was homemade, I know the croutons were I could’ve made a meal out of them by their selves. My husband ordered the porterhouse with baked potato and a Caesar salad. He likes he is a little on the rarer side than I do but they were both cooked fabulously. For dessert. We had the chocolate stampede, big slice, so sweet, so rich took a few bites, took the rest home, a wonderful dessert. What was especially nice was the manager walked around that night to talk to the guest to make sure their meals and experience was a good one. Thank you Andrew it was wonderful to meet and talk with you. As the daughter of a previous restaurant owner I know how important it is to share your complements with the staff and management as well as your complaints. No complaints from this girl. Everything was a...
Read moreWent for lunch, they were quite busy. We were sat near the kitchen. Sat for about 15-20 minutes looking at the menu, nothing. Passed by server after server. Nobody said a word, which was weird. Usually, at least someone (a manager?) will ask if you’ve been served drinks yet or have been helped. Finally, a sweet server took our order and apologized for the wait as she didn’t know it was her table. After that, our service was prompt and the food and drinks came out quickly, which was appreciated. She was attentive and really on it (for everyone she was serving, as far as I could tell). The person who ran us our food, another server, brought us our steaks and sat our identical meals in front of us without saying a word...I got rare and my hubs got medium… a little aggravating to have to switch plates after re-arranging the table to get food sat on it. Since we were so close to the kitchen, we got to hear about the other parties that had gotten up and left because no one had served them yet. I guess either they were understaffed or the sections for servers were new or off…because it kinda looked like a cluster in there with people waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and waiting. HOWEVER- the food was delicious. Service, once we got it, was spot on. And for it being so busy it was pretty dang clean. The hostesses had it together, we noticed them constantly running around, greeting,...
Read moreI really want to give this experience more stars, but unfortunately this location sorely missed the mark this time. We came in around 8:15 this evening for my birthday dinner. It was just 3 of us, and the restaurant wasn't close to busy. Apps and drinks came out great. My boyfriends' food was perfect, as was my sisters'. For me on the other hand, was a total different story. I ordered the NY Strip, medium well. When I tell you the first steak that was sent out to me was so overcooked and tough, I could barely chew through it. The waitress was kind enough to have it recooked for me, this time I asked for medium HOPING to avoid what I had just gotten again. Unfortunately, the second steak come out RAW in the center. At that point, I'd waited so long, I opted to just take it home and cook it up to the right temp myself. None of this would've been that big of a deal if I wasn't nearly 6 months pregnant and spending a good amount of money. From way overcooked to completely raw? I think maybe you guys should reevaluate who's cooking your steaks at a STEAKHOUSE. The manager didn't even come out to our table, they just took our $8 app off our ($60+) ticket. We probably...
