Here's a story about the importance of the customer experience:
About two months ago I left NJ to drive my girlfriend's mother's car down here to Fort Myers, FL. 1200+ miles and 18 hours later, I arrived, took a nap and a shower and proposed to my girlfriend with a beautiful diamond ring. Despite the band being two sizes too small, she said yes and on recommendation of someone whose name escapes me at this moment, I headed over to Dunkin's Diamonds to get an estimate for a resize.
I know almost nothing about jewelry despite working in a different luxury industry myself and as I'm well aware, and I'm sure many others can attest to this, it can be an intimidating experience for the uninitiated. I was very happy to find this was not the case at Dunkin's Diamonds. I was very warmly greeted by a gentleman whose name also escapes me at this moment (I'm bad with names, I apologize) and made an initial estimate that was quick and convenient without feeling rushed or like I was "being sold to". He took the time to educate me on some findings of his own beyond the need for resizing. After giving me an estimate, he told me that due to the pandemic he was truthfully unsure whether or not their business would be forced to shut down temporarily in response and recommended I wait until they were sure they'd be open to service the ring in a timely fashion. I made the decision to hold onto it on this recommendation and because of my experience I told him I'd be back as soon as I could.
With everything going on it got away from me, but I happened to drive by and saw they were open while observing and maintaining the CDC's recommended guidelines and after confirming it with the manager, I went home to get the ring. My 2nd visit was given just as much care and attention, the estimate was extremely fair and the quality of work done was immaculate. My fiancé is overjoyed that she can wear her ring properly now except it fits and after they cleaned it up you could see the sparkle from space even in the dark. It was an especially tough job as the band is on the thinner size and needed to go from a 6 to an 8 but looking at it post-surgery, you'd never know it was ever under the knife.
Money well spent for a job exceptionally well done with customer service to match. I'll be back for a new chain for a pendant I bought for her a while...
Read moreThe amazingly professional and warm hearted people at Dunkin Diamonds are absolutely unforgetable! My husband and I had never been there before and were completely surprised with an experience that far surpassed our expectations. First, we were greeted by Danielle who patiently listened to what we were looking for and was able to show us such lovely pieces of jewelry which were not only stunning, but even more so, well within our budget. When we met Rick, he simply stole my heart. His warmth and empathy is so deeply appreciated and I couldn’t leave without sharing a genuine and most caring hug. Sue Ellen and Mariela were sweet “icing on the cake” for a spectacular adventure never to be forgotten! This “team” of fine new friends are incredible, and they have such a way of making you feel special from the moment you enter to the moment you reluctantly leave. I have already recommended Dunkin Diamonds to family and friends and sincerely can’t help but feel such joy in knowing that such incredibly wonderful people exist. With all my years conducting corporate seminars for large and small businesses, I can confirm that there is nothing they need to learn in providing stellar customer service. My happiest thought is that I get to return as Danielle ordered a particular wedding band for my husband that we’ll be picking up once it arrives. We concluded our visit that resulted in my practically “skipping” toward our vehicle with my two elegant gift bags carrying a lovely wedding band in one and a luxurious set of shiny gold earrings in the other. Long after this exceptional encounter, I still feel like a queen! As an admirer of fine jewelry with great appreciation for the “entire experience”, I can confidently say that there are many places to purchase jewelry, but when you decide on Dunkin Diamonds, there’s no need to look any further; it’s obvious that you’ve already...
Read moreI went to multiple jewelers to purchase an engagement ring, but then was recommended by a friend to go to Dunkin's, which is where he purchased his engagement ring. Other jewelers were fine and had options that would have suited my needs, but at Dunkin's the treatment I received was far greater as well as their expertise in selecting a ring I believe is perfect.
I worked with Bobbi throughout the entire process. The first day I came in it was more of a consultation; yet she understood, she still gave me more than enough time to ask every question I had and browse the numerous options that I had in front of me.
I went home still debating on choices and options, because I had to make sure everything was perfect. Still unsure the next day I called Bobbi and with her help we were able to find a diamond meeting all of the 4 C's I was requesting. I was able to review the certificate online which allowed me to further inspect everything I needed. The diamond was located in their inventory elsewhere, but she had the diamond brought in and the following day and I was able to see it in person. It was exactly what I was looking for. I was so happy, and I could not believe how fast she worked to be able to arrange having the diamond brought in so quick to see it in person.
Again, that day I went in to see the ring, Bobbi did not rush me same as the first day, she continued to answer any questions I may have and made the process so relieving and enjoyable.
My now fiancé has the ring today and we both cannot keep our eyes off of it. Because of Dunkin's Diamonds and especially all the help from Bobbi my fiancé has the most beautiful ring! You now have another lifelong customer, thank you again Bobbi...
