My cousin and I were looking for somewhere to eat and catch up, she’s obsessed with salads so a quick search on google brought us to Salad King. A quick chat with Kyle (part owner/chef) and the crew gave us the information about the place and lots of good vibes. All the ingredients are fresh and locally sourced, which is a huge plus. Gotta love supporting local businesses. There are so many options to choose from, but honestly you can’t go wrong here. I had one of their salads that had the recipe posted, and added a few extras like quinoa and croutons (you HAVE to try the croutons, they’re homemade!). I went with the lemon white vinaigrette which was fantastic(also homemade). My cousin had the fruit salad which she raved over, tomato basil soup (which Kyle showed us photos of his process to make from scratch) and a cucumber tomato and onion salad with vinegrette. I forgot to take a photo of my salad until I was almost done so don’t judge. lol oh and the fresh made strawberry lemonade was also a treat! 10/10 I will...
Read moreMy wife and I tried The Salad King today for the first time. We met two of the owners who are very approachable and very excited for their new business. The decor is simple, clean and bright. The food is fresh and delicious. They offer both special salads and build your own with plenty of toppings and proteins. The Salad King also offers multiple soups. My wife tried the Greek salad and I had the Imperial Asian salad. Both salads were delicious and the numerous dressings allow for multiple tastes. My wife had the Tomato Basil soup. It was full of flavor. I had both the Seafood Corn Chowder and the Beef Barley. The seafood corn chowder had a creamy base and contained plenty of seafood including delicious clams. The Beef Barley had a very hearty broth and again terrific flavor.
The service was very good and the employees behind the counter were extremely friendly and took the time to go over the menu. Great experience. We'll be returning...
Read moreThe Salad King facility was very clean. Nice and bright inviting colors. Staff was very well informed on the menu and made excellent suggestions. Broccoli cheese soup was excellent broccoli was still al dente. The beets and goat cheese salad was very appealing to my eyes. The ladies did a fantastic job putting my order together. Before we left Kyle asked us how everything was and we shared our very positive experience. Kyle is actually the chef and educated us on his spectacular homemade strawberry vinaigrette salad dressing and oh my goodness he should bottle and sell that deliciousness concoction. If you haven’t ate at Salad King you’re missing out in healthy, farm fresh salads and soups. Enjoy this place, very unique and tasty...
