7/14/23 if I could give a zero i would! When I got to the speaker to place my order the lady was already trying to rush me and as I said each item I needed she would continue to say anything else, anything else?! Well! When I received my order from this lady with red hair my order was completely wrong. I ordered all large meals and she only put down drinks no meals for 3 of my meals. Some of my items were burned. Then when I confronted her about the mistake I wanted to make sure what she charged us for because she never provided a receipt. And when said she would be right back to charge us for all missing items,we waited about 20 minutes as the rest of my order got cold a manager came out to figure out what was going on. He said the lady said I was refusing to pay for the missing items which is ridiculous I just wasn't gonna pay for items twice and if she would of provided me with a receipt I would have had her repeat what was charged. Then I had to wait 20 more minutes for the rest of the order. And as she brought it out she was rude.she has no customer service. She is not professional in any way and does not belong in any work Environment where she has to deal with customers. If im spending about a $100 i expect my food to be right the first time. And not burned and cold. She just lost sonics customers due to her negligence and lack of motivation to be a good worker corporate needs to take control of this store and put people to care about job there so we as customers don't have to have these kind of...

A couple of months ago, I placed an online order that took forever and was eventually CANCELLED with no explanation. I gave them another chance today, hoping maybe it was just a one-time thing… BIG MISTAKE.
I ordered food for myself and my coworkers through DoorDash. I tracked the order and saw it was marked ready for pickup — my dasher was literally at the store WAITING. TELL ME WHY they made my driver wait 40 MINUTES just to tell them THE ORDER WASN’T EVEN READY???
I tried to be understanding — maybe they were busy — but no, it got worse. THIRTY MINUTES LATER, my dasher messaged me saying the machines were messed up or something like that. THEN SONIC CANCELLED MY ORDER!!! So basically… you took my money, didn’t give me my food, made everyone wait over an HOUR, and now I won’t even get a full refund for 5–7 business days??? Make it make sense.
If Sonic can’t properly handle online or delivery orders, then they should NOT be on DoorDash or ANY food delivery app. Period. It’s incredibly unprofessional and misleading.

I don't live in Carlsbad, so I came to the store while I was in town. Three years ago we came through to check out the Caverns and tried to get a shake. After waiting for ten minutes or more, we finally left and went somewhere else.
Fast forward three years and I wanted a shake so I figured we would try again. BIG MISTAKE! Service hasn't improved...in all likelihood it has gotten worse. We waited ten minutes before they took our order. Then we waited twenty minutes before they came back out with PART of the offer. I had to complain that we were missing the shakes and a grilled cheese sandwich. They couldn't tell me which shake was which. After they finally came out with the rest of the order, we had been there for nearly an hour and hadn't eaten. We had to go bang on the for because we didn't get straws or spoons for our shakes. We left to go to our hotel.
When my wife finally tried get shake, it was super lemon power. It was so potent that she had to throw it away. I wonder if the staff knows how to mix a shake.
Bottom line: I like Sonic, but I will never come back to this one. Do yourself a favor and don't stop. Keep on driving. Any other place has got to be a MAJOR...
