This is a very nice drive that allows beautiful photos and opportunity to walk to beach. The scenery is breath taking on a sunny day. The camera can’t truly capture what the eyes see. The cost is $12 and there are gates in each direction. We stopped by visitor center but the worker wasn’t scheduled to come until 1pm. There are signs that state to stay off because ecological reserves but seems some refuse to obey rules. Security drive by when one man was disobeying and when he saw the officer he proceeded to appropriate area. We humans are so very destructive.

Read moreWhile staying at the Carmel Valley Ranch, the concierge recommended we take the Carmel Gate entrance to enjoy the 17 Mile Drive. The guard gate was busy as a bee but still very friendly. The cost was cheap! ($12.00). The views were unbelievable. We went on a weekday (Monday) and although it was a holiday, it was easy to navigate. It was my first time seeing the Pacific Coast and Pebble Beach did not disappoint. The views are absolutely spectacular. Read moreThe gate lady at 2p on 9/8 should be moved to a non customer facing role maybe cleaning up after pets. Incredibly rude first encounter before we even said a word. She was upset her card reader was down and that we didn’t have any small bills of cash. The sign literally says prefer debit and credit cards. Why was she so rude to us and why is that our problem if there is an issue. We did pay to go in, but the car in front of us didn’t seem to.
