El Market Puerto Rico — Local services in Carolina

Went to the store last Sunday at about 3am. They have really nice things for last minute needs. However, they were playing 'music' with dirty lyrics. Some people get so used to it that they don't even notice it. So I decided to talk to the employee. After greeting him I pointed out that the lyrics playing were dirty, that it's a public space and children could come in at any moment. He answered, "Yes it's ok, this is Puerto Rico and this is how we are". I replied: "not every Puerto Rican is like that". He then answered very proudly that the majority of Puerto Rican have a filthy mouth. Of course, they kept playing the same thing.

But, I can proudly say the majority of Puerto Ricans are persons with good morals, that show respect towards others (maybe they're not as loud). We know the value, meaning and impact of the words we use, because words matter. With words we plant love or hate. We plant violence or kindness. We plant respect...

I can't believe I forgot to review this wonderful shop after I landed in Puerto Rico! It's inside the airport & I bought coffee for my brother to send home from here. Altho I wish to find instant coffee but in Puerto Rico they don't sell it, which I have learned in time lol..!

I was in awe with this place but I have just landed & I need to go to my hotel to rest & plan my visit. I did end up buying some more coffee on my way back to New York City & wished I should have get it from a local store! I actually forgot & end up paying a higher price!

Place is so magical, loved the colors & cultural items so much ! Prices were ridiculously higher & I expected it already, it's being inside the airport! Customer service was great, still dreaming to go go back to...

This establishment is so rude. I went there Wednesday where I encountered the most rude and disrespectful staff I’ve ever seen in an airport shop. The guy told me I shouldn’t be shopping if I only had enough money to buy one thing. I was pushed into a display of coffee mugs and the staff told me I had to pay for the broken cups due to a sign being on the display case around the corner from where I was pushed. I had to pay for the cups after trying to reason with the staff but they were really nasty with their comments and if anyone wants a souvenir go anywhere else but...
