We stopped here to eat and have drinks while waiting on our flight. I wanted some local cuisine before leaving PR. We sat at the bar and it took close to 10 mins to even be recognized or spoken to… Strike 1.
The bartender/server, Ivan lacked customer service skills. He was very dismissive and quick. We had to call him back to take my friend’s order b/c he walked away so fast. Hello!! There are 2 people here! They were not that busy. Strike 2.
Strike 3- I ordered the churrasco steak. Several mins later I over hear a white man at the bar order the same thing. Ivan immediately put in his order and then came back to me and told me they were out of the churrasco steak. I called him out on it. I ordered before the white guy, however he didn’t put my order in. Smh. He didn’t admit to it, apologize or anything. Complete turn off. Makes me wonder what preconceived notions he had based on my skin color. Very disrespectful. I ended up ordering the other steak on the menu. The “steak” ended up being fried hamburger meat. It was bland. He brought out the wrong side dishes for both myself and my friend. The fried pork she ordered was over done and dry.
This place was a waste of our time and money. Needless to say we left. We would’ve ordered more drinks and tipped well (as we always do, being former waitresses). We should’ve just went to Margaritaville or got fast food. I will never return to this restaurant. If you’re considering this place, don’t waste your time. A bad last experience in PR.

Read moreNice spot to wait for your flight. The music was a bit too loud this time around. I had my noise cancellation earbuds and I could still hear the music through while playing my podcast. My server was pleasant and attentive. I first ordered wine and it was served in a plastic wine glass, I asked for a real wine glass and all was well. The appetizer of alcapurrias (local plantain fritters) were delicious and very authentic. It came with a dipping sauce of mayo-ketchup. I would suggest they add a little more meat to the alcapurrias and maybe a spicy sauce on the side. The menu was pricey compared to other restaurants that serve the same food. However; portions are large. One meal can easily have 2 1/2 servings. I opted for the house salad with the house vinaigrette —but I found it way too sweet. They brought me oil & vinegar which was fine. The salad was a generous portion. It had tons of fresh veggies, mini croutons, and to my surprise Sweet Plantains. I set those aside as they didn’t belong; however they were sweet and very tasty. My tomatoes were bland, not ripped enough and a bit hard. Again, for a quick bite before your flight it’s a good spot. Much better selection outside the airport, if you have the time prior to...
Read moreStopped here for a quick meal. Split the appetizer sampler and an entree (boneless chicken breast) between 2 people. The appetizer sampler was more expensive than the entree but it brought considerably less food. If i realized this, we would have just ordered two entrees and gotten more value for a better price. With that being said, the boneless chicken breast was cooked very well, not too dry. I recommend that entre, it was so good we forgot to take a picture of it.
I do not recommend the appetizers based on their pricing. They tasted good: not bad, but also didn't knock my socks off. Also the water was more expensive than we realized and the waiter did not give us the option for tap when we ordered, so I'm not sure if they offer anything more economical than $5 bottled water.
The vibes of the place was okay, it was a little crowded, but that seems to be the general vibe of the entire terminal. The tables were small. Not sure if there's a better experience elsewhere since a few of the other restaurants were closed. Good service, our...
