Does not deserve any stars. Not friendly or courteous atoll. I went to the airport Gustos. Coffee.co and got a bottle of water, a Mallorca with ham and turkey sandwich which were stored in an open refrigerator for easy access to grab and go. I can’t eat ham and they did not have salads that day, all they had was meat sandwiches and I was super hungry so I decided to manage. There was a big line and when it was my turn to pay, I asked the cashier to please take the ham off for me and warm the food in the oven. I asked this because I am at the airport and my hands are dirty and the sanitizer dispenser next to me at this facility did not have sanitizer. This cashier said that she could not take the ham out for me and I asked why and she did not say why. She said no and that she couldn’t . I saw her coworkers use tonsils when handling all sandwiches when putting them in the oven so I did not understand why she could not use the tonsils to take the ham off for me as she was better prepared and equipped to do the job than me. I explained that I had my hands dirty and she directed me to the other side of the establishment where the napkins were. As I move to look for napkins on the other side of the room, I am keeping the line from moving because I am struggling managing two carry on bags as well. I even had to let a lady pay for her food first because she was about to miss her flight. The cashier looked at me struggling with opening the paper bag where the food was, managing two carry on bags that I had to leave unattended and attempting to get the meat off myself with napkins and dirty hands. The Mallorca got ruined and I let her know that I did not want the Mallorca anymore because it was ruined and my dirty hands touched the food and I was concerned on getting COVID. She said that I had to pay for it. I did not comprehend the terrible customer service and I let her know that. In response she expressed with an anger demeanor that I had to pay for the food, food that I was not going to eat, all because she could not direct me to a sanitizer dispenser with actual sanitizer or take the meat off for me with kitchen tools (tonsils) or direct me to a coworker at the facility who was willing to help me by taking off two slices of ham in a sanitary and safe way for a consumer. She didn’t even offer a brand new Mallorca as some other facilities would have done out of decency and courtesy because they appreciate customer loyalty to their brand. It was a mess because the line was not moving and this could have been handled differently. I was in such a rush and felt so uncomfortable with the situation that I paid for food I did not eat, all totaling $27.61. TERRIBLE customer service. It is unfortunate that this was my last experience before leaving the island. I managed to find a working sanitizer dispenser at the end but I did not notice it before because it was further away from where I was paying. This was really the only food option for me because the other sandwich place near by was full and had a big line as well and I had a flight to take. My impression of Gustos coffee is terrible and it seems as if they don’t bother to train their employees on good customer service and discrimination policies.

Not sure how the people who own this establishment would feel if they purchased these items themselves? -Took more than 5 minutes just for each person to pay for food that was already prepped. (3 people in front of me) Took me 25 mins to purchase. -Looks to me like these employees need a good raise because it really just seems like no one cares about anything behind the counter. No smile, no hello, no thank you. You ask for a napkin and they just point at a certain direction and tell you to get it. Hahaha -2 Tuna Sandwiches at $9.59 each (Consisted of possibly 1 tablespoon of tuna and 2 pieces of regular white bread) -2 Quesitos at $4.99 each Airport prices are generally expensive, but maybe if it were the owner's family to purchase these unworthy items and experienced the service themselves, maybe then they would try to improve the value of what they're selling and treat their employees better so that the employees would treat the customers better. But anyhow, this review is being written 2 weeks later after my purchase, as I'm just sitting on the toilet bowl at the moment and I was reminded of this establishment. Or after all, it could have been just my unlucky day.

This coffee shop is located by security and the Delta/ Spirit/ Southwest check in desks. It's a good little place to relax for a bit when you arrive at the airport before going through security. It's right next to the bathrooms. There's not much seating, and no outlets to charge devices, but the coffee is good. We tried a hot white chocolate mocha, hot nutty caramel latte, and blended caramel white mocha and all 3 were really good, especially for airport coffee! The barista was friendly, and working her tail off, but it was understaffed, so she was taking orders and making the drinks by herself, so the line backed up a bit. But, they allowed people to sit and patron the area for long periods of time, and eventually (an hour later?) a second barista came in and helped manage the lines.
