We had an absolutely awful experience. I really try to refrain from leaving bad reviews but without a doubt this 1 star review is necessary.

Whoever the server is that’s short with light colored curly hair was absolutely awful. Service was terrible, I “tried” to enjoy my meal but the entire time was worried it had been tampered with, which as a business owner of 6 stores & 1 restaurant ourselves, is an unacceptable way to feel while eating somewhere.

She was extremely disrespectful to us & showed 0 hospitality / friendliness, yet smiled at other folks eating there at the same time. We thanked her multiple times & all we got were dirty looks, 0 communication & a snarky attitude. The dark haired gal with bangs next to her continued talking about us and giving us dirty looks as well.

When being seated, her same awful attitude was present, I understand she is a server but when your servers are upfront hostessing/ ultimately becoming the face of your restaurant, she has painted an awful image and we will never return.

We have eaten here before and visit San Juan 2-3x a year & have never experienced such an awful experience, we eat all over the world & this was by far the worst we’ve ever been treated! She spoke perfect English, since she took my order perfectly fine so communication was not an issue. Her attitude, demeanor & delivery was the issue.

When speaking to the manager “Manuel”? I believe his name was, he was super friendly and assured us he was going to try to take care of it & bring it to her attention.

We in no way, shape, or form want anything for free, but this kind of treatment should NOT be acceptable in any way. If I could rate this experience...

I had a terrible experience at this airport restaurant on 2/17 and I never received my food or a refund, and I almost missed my flight because of it. I ordered food before a flight that was boarding in the same terminal about 40 minutes later. My friend and I ordered food to-go on separate checks. My friend’s food arrived and was packed up to-go in about 20 minutes. I was informed by two bartenders/servers that the chicken sandwich and fries I ordered was accidentally given to another restaurant patron. I asked the bartender if they could please throw some food together in the kitchen as I was starving after a full day of travel and was about to go on a 4 hour flight. After begging the bartender for any kind of food he finally got the manager, who reluctantly said he would go into the kitchen and get me some food to-go. I waited and waited and waited. By that time my friend had boarded the plane and was told that the boarding gates were closing in 3 minutes. My food never came, and I was not issued a refund. I ran to the boarding gate and boarded my flight right before they closed. I also don’t understand how my to-go chicken sandwich and Pellegrino cost $59, which is the charge I see on my credit card. I believe I was charged twice while never actually receiving any food. DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE. I was already seated but decided to leave. Server had a negative attitude and was rude to me twice for no reason. I was seating by the kitchen, there was loud noise coming from it, really annoying, from employees who clearly were not assigned to the kitchen. I told her in a cordial tone that I wanted to move to another table, because it was very noisy there and she responded, very disrespectfully, well, if you seat by yhe kitchen… Once on the other table, I started cleaning it with the menu, because it was full of dust and sticky. I did not say anything to her, but when she saw me, she said to me, again with a disrespectful tone, it is not dirty, it is sticky… Really… I just stood up and left. I finally had a wonderful lunch at Metropol, where the server was and always is very nice and respectful. (I travel on a monthky basis to PR). This time I had gone to Vendimia looking for something different, but I was wrong trying to change what has proven to be great over...
