If I could leave zero stars I would. My daughter and I live in Carpinteria, combined we spend a gross amount of money on art, crafts, and all things creative in a year. Walking into Roxannes is something we will never do again. The people who work there are rude, stuck up privileged women. They follow you around as if youâre going to steal $8 in quilting materials, ha! Being reasonable we thought this may have been a one time experience, and attempted shopping there multiple times over the past 4 years and received the same ugly service. I saw that the rear of the frame was bent like it was dropped at one time. This irreparable damage was NOT listed in the description, or I wouldnât have bought it. I called the shop and I was told she wasnât sure how that was missed, but told me she has 40 years experience with featherweights and went on to gaslight me calling the damage a idiosyncrasy that these machines have.
