Meeples Brew — Restaurant in Cary

Good smoothies and coffee, friendly service, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. I'm sorry, but you just can't charge $13+ for a BLT made with shredded iceberg lettuce and precooked bacon (I assume it's precooked, but it looked borderline raw, and I couldn't bring myself to eat it). I requested a refund on my sandwich, and they were happy to oblige, so I do appreciate that. Cute decor, but obviously very cheap. During a previous visit for a meeting, the Wi-Fi kept cutting in and out, which was pretty frustrating (not normally something I'd care about, but for a coffee shop, having solid Wi-Fi is essential). A good spot for drinks and games, but I'd recommend getting breakfast/lunch elsewhere - there's plenty of restaurants in Cary and Morrisville offering higher-quality food at this...

Found this shop when I needed somewhere to work on homework that wasn't Starbucks. It's nice and clean, and I liked the atmosphere.

Giving it a 3 star literally cause of the customer service. The Indian lady who took my order aroynd 2pm (so nowhere near close) seemed annoyed that I was even ordering a simple hot chocolate. Then I asked if they accepted cash or is it card only. That too annoyed her. I realized I was just a little short on cash, so I opted for a card payment. Which then also annoyed her yet again. I hope this was just an off day but the staff was incredibly difficult to communicate with. They called out food and no one could understand what they said and they were not helpful in letting people know who's food it was. We waited way too long for a kids grilled cheese that the cheese barely started to melt. We were supposed to have fruit and juice boxes with the kids food that we were unable to get even after asking for it multiple times. We waited another 15+ minutes for our food after getting the kids and had to cancel so we could go home. They were willing to refund the food that they did not serve and the coffee...
