I wish I could give an honest review, but I cannot. We were all set to attend the Thai cooking class on Saturday, 3/1/25. Unfortunately, multiple members of our group came down with an illness shortly before the class and we were not able to attend.
When we contacted them to try and either reschedule for another class or get our money back we were told via email that neither was an option. Over the next few days I tried calling to further explain what had happened and our desire to resolve the situation, but I have not heard back.
Our hope was that we could either obtain a refurn that we could use for a future class with Wynton's our have the option of applying the money we spent ($400) to another class. I did read and understand the cancellation policy, but I am disappointed nobody was willing to talk through things with me. I would think there would be some resolutions especially given that we spent $400.00 that is lost. We would like to attend a class at Wynton's as we were very excited, but sadly it doesn't look like that will happen because we don't want to spent more money only to risk losing it again. I strongly feel that the cancellation policy, while there for a reason, needs to...
Read moreWynton’s World is incredible! I love taking cooking classes here. I have done over 30 classes between the Cooking Essentials program, individual classes with friends, and date nights for couples. I love that everything is hands on, so you really get to do everything yourself. There is always an abundance of delicious food which makes it so worth it. Classes do usually sell out far in advance. I have also done 5 of the culinary and culture tours which I can not recommend enough. Seeing another country through food is a great way to really understand so much more about a culture. Wynton also picks experience that I likely would have not found or picked myself which is another reason I recommend the tours. I love to travel myself, quite often, and so knowing that Chef Wynton curates an amazing makes the whole process of traveling so...
Read moreA friend and I took a cupcake decorating class. While the class was fun the cupcakes we decorated were inedible. I could make better cupcakes out of a box. This is a quote from the description of the class " The cupcakes are out of the oven and ready to decorate". Must have been out of the oven a week ago. They were SO dry, just horrible.
I was excited to share with family and friends but instead they went in the trash.
Another comment about the class. We didn't learn most of the techniques that are shown in the image on the class description. You can see my cupcakes and what we were taught in the class.
We enjoyed the class and learned some thing because we are beginners but, probably wouldn't take another class here since the product was inedible (and it...
