This is embarrassing because my toes have NEVER looked like this but it isn’t my fault!
Okay so here goes my very first bad review. VN nails what the HECK are you teaching your techs? Angel somehow managed to give me the worst pedicure of my whole life, and I went to BEAUTY SCHOOL with people who didn’t know right from left. All of my toe nails are uneven. My polish is already chipping. I just left twenty minutes ago. She tried to polish me without a base coat until I called her out. She made me BLEED. Multiple times. She did the thing where she cuts the sidewalks of my toenails in so I get an ingrown, so I come back. Well I won’t be. I am a freaking nail tech, I know the drill. She shouldn’t be touching clients. Everything was rushed and this was for MY WEDDING. Now I have to go get ACRYLIC put on my big toes that way they are half way presentable. She didn’t even make both big toe nails the same shape, length, nothing. I have polish on my cuticles, and she complained about the color I chose. News flash, you’re the tech. Your job is to make me happy. It’s a shame because normal people wouldn’t know how BAD of a job this was, and me being a nail tech makes me literally disgusted. I want a refund. I tried to speak to the manager (I have it on video) but he just brushed it off saying ‘I’ll speak to her, thank you for telling me’. This is very sad. And NO. This isn’t a ‘privileged white woman’ post lol. This is called I am a professional in this industry, and this is unacceptable. Also, she demanded payment prior to my polish even being dry. If I don’t get my refund, I will be reporting y’all to the board. Didn’t even get into how unsanitary she was, re using a pumice stone on me from a prior client. Read moreI was a first time customer went in with my niece. Walked in at 1:02pm. I told them I wanted a gel fill and a polish change on me and a full set for my niece. There was one lady sitting int he pedicure chair and the technician was finishing another ladies nails. They did my polish change on my toes immediately. Never said that of the two ladies that were there, only one could do nails. The lady int he pedicure chair goes to the table to get her nails done, again no direction on timing but I'm good. They take my niece finally at 1:45 for her full set. Another lady walks in and the lady stops working on my niece to deal with this lady who apparently has an appointment, the technician then rushes through the rest of my nieces nails and sends her to the other technician to polish walks passed me and says, it will be a little because I have to do her nails. Ok if you had an appointment you should have told me that as I would not have wasted my time, then 20 minutes (i'm still waiting on my niece nails to be finished polish) in walks another lady who also has an appointment at 3pm. I hear the lady say sorry your next the time got by me. WTH I'm sitting here waiting been waiting since 1pm. Read moreThis was my first time trying this salon. I live nearby and decided to go because I wanted a pedicure. On the way I decided to get a manicure as well. My nails came out thick bulky and messy. The lady who I received the service did not even clean my real nails or push back my cuticles. I continuously had to try to explain what I wanted and I also had a picture for reference but she still was not able to do it. Also when she started the color I told her that I wanted a different pink. And once I found the pink I wanted she still decided to just use more coats of the pink she was already using. I also wanted my pedicure first but the lady insisted I get my nails done first so I never ended up getting my pedicure. The other lady at the salon did offer to fix but considering the shape wasn’t even correct and I’ve already been in the salon a long time I declined.
