I have been shopping for my nephew and his fiancé's upcoming bridal shower. The happy couple have registered at multiple wedding registry sites. Unfortunately, they have registered for identical items on more than one registry. I was so excited to have purchased multiple items as my gift to them. I did not purchase the items at Kohls however, and as a result I need to have Kohls's gift registry updated to reflect the items that I have purchased elsewhere. Now to me it would seem that any logical thinking person/business would see the importance of this process in order to ensure that the happy couple does not receive multiple identical gifts. I am happy to report that Macy's, Bed Bath and Beyond and Target stores make it possible to update their gift registries without much difficulty. However, I have spent a minimum of 2 hours on Kohl's website and have spoken with a customer service representative, as well as 4 different people at 2 different Kohls stores and apparently it is impossible to update purchases made from a Kohls gift registry (I'm assuming unless you purchase an item at Kohls). As a result, what should've been an exciting and fun experience shopping for my nephew and his bride, has turned into one of the most frustrating shopping experiences of my life. If you know anyone who is considering using a gift registry I would strongly urge them to not include Kohls in their celebrations as they will more than likely receive multiple items that they will end up needing to return as well as VERY...

I was able to find a pair of shoes at the last minute online for my daughter's recital, and I chose the pickup option. So when I got there, I went inside and double-checked where to find customer service for the pickup. So I walked back to customer service, and the girl working told me we wouldn't need to do all these extra steps if I went and got my items by myself in the first place. I didn't even know where to go since it was my first time. I just apologized, and she gave me some sort of ticket to bring back with my shoes. I ordered that i had to get from some bins. So when I got back to her, she did whatever she needed to do, and I thanked her. As I was walking away, she clearly said out loud as my back was turned away. "It shouldn't be that hard to understand," and she said some other things and was huffing about the issue. So I walked back and told her I could obviously hear her. She then proceeded to have an attitude about the situation, so I told her that it was my first time sorry you had to do something. Since there were no other customers in her line.
My experience with her was terrible, and she was customer service. I had a better experience with the cashier. If you can't be...

If you discard something you choose not purchase make sure you do it openly where the cameras can see you clearly. If the people behind the cameras blink or do not pay attention to where to put stuff be prepared to be followed to your car and accused of stealing. They will escort you back into the store and expect you to hold their hand in order to follow you around so you can show them where you discarded things and do their job for them at the expense of YOUR dignity and integrity. They, of course, do not offer any apologies or sympathetic words to THEIR accusations as you walk out of the store for the second time. Unfortunately, I did some research on Kohl's and their history with their Loss Prevention officers and they have a very long history of lawsuits against them for this very thing. They perform illegal stops for questioning and throw accusations at customers who have done nothing wrong. This is due to their negligence or lack of attention when following someone they suspect who doesn't shop the way THEY...
