VERY dissatisfied with my experience. Take your business elsewhere to avoid something similar happening. I had 4 of my rings cleaned, resized, and the stones checked. One band had a very small sapphire on the inside. I was told that after resizing it might not fit anymore, which I was fine with. 1 hour after picking up my rings (after paying a lot of money for those services mind you) the sapphire was noticeably not in the ring. I called and took the ring back in. I was told it wasn’t their fault that the stone was in there when I left. They could get me another but not for free only discounted. 1) they either lost the stone with resizing 2) they kept the stone for themselves 3) the stone was so loose (again after I paid really well to have stone’s checked) that it fell out within an hour of leaving the store. One would think if it was loose enough due to resizing they would have given it back to me separate. It is really unfortunate when a store cannot be trusted and has such a poor level of customer service.

I anticipated a response like this. It is unfortunate you used this time to try to devalue the sapphire on my wedding band. It seems like because something isn’t a giant diamond it isn’t valued as much at the store apparently? There was absolutely no mention of “best practice” or “resetting the sapphire with prongs”. I was “communicated with” in about one sentence by an employee prior to my rings being fixed. Not some extensive conversation the store tries to make it out to be. There is absolutely no proof on your end the stone was in the ring upon pickup. Again, if it was there, it was loose enough to fall right out within an hour of leaving. This all after paying a lot to have all my stones be checked and tightened where needed! A gesture of goodwill would be fixing the mistakes, rather than discounting a service which results in me spending even more money at the store.

I'm not one to write many reviews but when I receive excellent service or find a wonderful store then I want others to know about my experience. If you don't want to read my whole review then just take this one piece of advice. You can be like me and feel the need to still check around many stores but atleast do yourself a favor and stop by AmRheins because you will not be disappointed with what they have to offer.

I recently was looking for a wedding ring and went to multiple big named stores. After looking at so many rings I couldn't find the perfect one. The nice rings required a larger budget and the quality dropped drastically with the rings that were more cost friendly. When I walked into AmRhein's I was greeted with a smile and was immediate welcomed by Tom Sells. The first thing I noticed when I looked at the diamonds they had to offer was the high quality and clarity of each diamond no matter the size or shape. Tom explained to me that their outlook was to offer the best quality diamonds at every price point. This to me meant no matter which diamond I went with I would have the best diamond I could afford. On top of that I was looking for a specific style of band for my wife's wedding ring, which out of their huge selection I couldn't find the exact style. Which wasn't an issue because they have a Master Jeweler on site to create and design whatever you can come up with.

I'll finish with how I started, you don't have to take my word for it. You can be like me and feel the need to still check around but atleast do yourself a favor and stop by AmRheins because you will not be disappointed with what they have to offer. I truly couldn't be more happy with the final results, along with my wife and everyone else that has seen the ring. Juanita was amazing! I was going to wait until we got my engagement ring before writing a review, but my boyfriend and I spent the entire car ride home talking about how sweet and knowledgeable Juanita was.

She was able to answer all of my questions and let us pick her brain for nearly 2 hours. We asked her honest opinion on certain things and she was happy to tell us, but not try and persuade us one way or the other. She took my information down and promised to look out for a specific setting I wanted. Juanita made sure we didn’t feel rushed even when people were starting to come into the store, and was happy to let me go back and forth looking at the same rings because I couldn’t make up my mind.

My boyfriend mentioned the men’s bands and she was happy to pull some out of the back for him to try on even though we had already spent so much time on the rings I was looking at. He ended up walking out with 2 bands that he loves already.

This is the first place we’ve gone to look at rings and we have already decided this will be the place we get my engagement ring made.
