I really wanted to stay here for years now. They have gotten on Reserve America booking and when they showed 2 openings for a Sunday thru Wednesday I was ex static! So it's a 1pm check in and while on the road and 10min away from Cayucas I get a email at 12:12 " we're overbooked sorry." WHAT! !! So we drive in and the lady says I don't know what happened. Sorry. No offer of any help at all. Talk about up a creek without a paddle! All though I don't know for sure I suspect a regular guest showed up and they gave away my reservation. I have friends who stay here alot and they tell me the call and get a spot everytime. You aren't supposed to be able to call and make a reservation because they only have Reserve America. I'm hoping to someday get in here to try them out and change my review but as a Google reviewer I cannot tell a lie. And by the way Morro Dunes RVResort when I told my tale of woe at 5min to 1pm got me in and saved the day ,they were appalled at the lack of service we had. I work for the hospitality industry and we would offer a return stay... anything to make this up to a guest. Bottom line go Morro Dunes rv resort and be treated like a guest not a...
Read moreI am editing my review for this RV Park due to some real unfortunate changes in their policies and personal. They have signed on to Reserve America for their booking and claim the only way to make any reservation is through this site. This is not the problem. The problem is that their manager takes reservations by phone from her chosen list of preferred visitors leaving nearly no Reserve America sites available....no speculation here...I saw it first hand. We somehow through persistence got a reservation on line. At check in, I heard the manager taking a reservation by phone including receiving a credit card number. My wife and I talked it over and decided we would make a reservation for the entire month of August. I went in to the office and asked to make the reservation and I was told to get it on line...she said I dont have time to make reservations now go away. Rude and quite quilty, it seems to me. So...we will not go back to this otherwise beautiful park. We talked to other people on site and got the feeling there are few who enjoy this new management or it's good old boy policies. So sorry to...
Read moreWhereas most RV Parks feel like camping in a parking lot, this place feels like a community and home. I enjoy that there are more mobile homes as the amount of pull in and pull out traffic is limited. Almost every site (within a few feet of your door) has an ocean view, whether it says non-view or not, comfortable space and a little grass. Compared to so many other camping areas on the strip of coast which are flat, gravel, and squished in trailer next to trailer within a few feet of each other, we love this place! Nope not great TV reception, but I’m not here to watch TV with this gorgeous view, beach and town. Perhaps restroom and shower area could use an update, but they are clean and well-kept… Far nicer than many state parks and camp parks we have been in. I would recommend this place to anyone, it is way more spacious and comfortable than most parks in the area, certainly if you are hoping to stay longer amount of time get as much time as you can get… pull in and pull out I would come here too. Feels like a...
