Cayucos Candy Counter — Restaurant in Cayucos

I just purchased a coconut & chocolate candy which had turned bad (hard and discolored) before its "best by" date (in 10 days) and they were unwilling to exchange or refund it. It is clear that customer service is lost on them and I will never visit this shop again. As I write this, the cashier came out and stated that after calling her boss she was willing to exchange it... she probably figured out I was writing this review. The exchange was made for one with a date in January......

My wife took my three daughters in for ice cream. They were in wetsuits, which they showered off all the sand and dried them as much as possible before going in. One of the workers rudely said "we can't have that in here!" We go do Duckies next door very often and they never complain about people coming in with sand on their feet or slightly wet. If your business is at the beach, you should probably be a little more graceful to people coming in to SPEND MONEY at your...

Good candy, friendly staff, but very forgetful. We bought $60 worth of candy including 5 very nice truffles, probably $4 to $5 a piece... They forgot to put them in our bag. :(

Ok, that happens, so we called them as soon as we noticed. We weren't close enough to go back before they closed, but they said the manager would give us a call - I think they forgot...

But hey, the rest of the candy is still good, just kind of...
