Definitely come here if you want to get robbed! I went in to get some screws removed from my gold Anne Klein watch, and to have a battery put in the Anne Klein watch as well as my black Rolex, both of which were passed down to me from my grandmother. I needed batteries to have them working so I could take my CDL test the following day (timing air brake leakage rate). I paid over $60 and Barbara skipped town immediately after, leaving me a voicemail about a family emergency. And then she said she had to wait for her son to get a battery. Days went by and when I spoke with her again she said the watches didnât come with batteries in them. DUHHH thatâs what Iâm paying you for. I figured she was senile but then she said when she did put one in they still didnât work. I explained to her that I would just come pick up the watches since they were my grandmotherâs, and her rude self said the watches arenât real anyway. I wouldnât give a damn if it was a stick from a tree, itâs mine. She just kept lying and each time I tried to pick them up before I moved 2 hours away, she wouldnât come to the door. The other day, she locked herself inside, I heard her speaking with someone. So I called her and she said she had meetings the other day and that I didnât come in at the day we agreed before. I asked her if I could have someone pick them up since I just drove 2 HOURS and she said yes but that I wouldnât receive a refund unless it was the same card. So we agreed for me to come back Saturday 5/4/24. So I drove 2 hours back again at the day and time we agreed⌠and the door was locked again. Then she blocked me from calling! I documented everything, recorded our conversations, and made sure to have pictures of the days/times I showed up. My real Rolex from my grandmother was stolen and I hope this civil lawsuit puts her out of business.
Reply: âGivingâ someone a free non functioning watch gives you 0 right to keep the ones youâre supposed to be repairing. Nobody said I expected same day service, but I definitely didnât expect THIS. Itâs been WEEKS and thereâs no excuse for your unprofessional behavior. Once again I was out that way and you were again not available. I donât care about service others received, this was MY experience with you and itâs valid. You previously told me over the phone as you sat in your locked office while I stood at the door waiting, that I could have someone pick them up since I moved. Instead of just giving them to me while I was there. And now here you are again being contradictory to your own statement saying they canât. I just want my watches. I literally live 2 hours away now and Iâm over the running around. Instead of giving a half apology about customer satisfaction, be sorry you gave people that bad experience. Nothing Iâve said is false or slander, thatâs your guilt talking. From what I can see Iâm not even...
Read moreTerrible Terrible Terrible service!!! STAY AWAY! Thieves! I now remember why I told myself 2 years ago that I would NEVER return. My usual jeweler was on vacation, which is reason why I stopped in to get a battery. I hand over my Movado for battery replacement. The younger lady took it, said "one minute." She immediately begin to work on it without providing a time-frame or price. After asking what is being done she said, we gotta take a closer look at it and will call with status." An older lady called about 40min later to inform a battery isn't needed but rather suggested a deep cleaning. I mentioned to her that service was performed by my regular jeweler about a year ago. She responds and says ok we'll go ahead and do battery service and to pick up next business day. I called Monday and spoke with older women, who has some type of memory loss because everytime I called for status, I would give her my info, and she would mention "I vaguely remember but let me check." This is scary that you can't remember the service that is being done. I became leary and asked to NOT do anything I will come in a pick up. She provided hours of availability but mentioned they may close early....huh??!! I now remember, the last time when I came in for battery service, it was quickly suggested of a needed deep cleaning service. Got the watch back, took it to my regular jeweler and they discovered there was no battery in the watch. THEY STOLE my battery!!! If the battery was fine but only needed a deep cleaning why was my battery not placed back in the watch??!!! STAY AWAY! Oh and another thing to mention. There are too many children (appear to be between ages 6-8) behind the counter! Why are there children roaming around while service is being done??!! A simple mishap can cause a lot of money that your insurance can't or won't cover. Please consider removing the children from behind the counter...as it is a formula...
Read moreWhen I took my Movado watch in to have a link added, the lady started working on it right away while I waited. After 25 minutes of her banging on it and asking someone else for help, I asked if I could leave it and come back to pick it up. Three days later I called to see if it was done and the lady explained how hard it was. She seemed annoyed that I called. She asked me why I brought it to them. I told her because they are a repair facility. She said it takes time for the pins to go in. She said they would call when it was done. When I went to pick it up, the 4 extra pins I had brought them with my link were gone. I asked what happened to them and they said they used them in the watch. I know 1 link only takes 2 pins so they lost or broke 2 of my pins. They repeated how hard it was to add the link. These people donât know what...
