My daughter was trying on homecoming dresses and both the younger gal and the older lady kept telling me that only 5 dresses can be in the room. I knew that from prior visits. As my daughter was trying on her dress she really wanted and I needed to grab a different size for her she came to me asking if I had a son and I told her can I ask why and she told me and I told her she needed to go find his dad because I was in the middle of helping my daughter. Finally my daughter found her perfect dress for homecoming unaware that according to the older lady my son ruined a dress. We ended up paying for a 2 dresses. I didn't know we were paying for. I asked my husband why and he told me when we got to the car and I said did she show proof that our son did this. There are NO cameras or any pictures to prove that he did it. So my husband had to take our daughters dress and the other dress back because the lady said she would need it back if we didn't want to pay for the other dress my son supposedly ruined. Now I have my 14 year old in tears because she is a bigger girl and has had a hard time finding a dress she feels beautiful in and loved herself in and in a moment this horrible lady took it from her. Shame on you. May your grand children never go through the something you put my...
Read moreI thought I might share my horrible experience at Elegant Repeats. I had brought my prom dress in after trying to sell it online on a few for sale sites. About a week after I brought my dress in- my grandma had passed away. In which she had bought me the dress, so I decided that I would try to get it back because it has sentimental value to me. I had called and talked to a manager telling her my situation and asking if I could come pick up my dress, and VERY rudely she responded with, "You just want to go and sell it don't you?" She eventually told me that I could come pick up the dress but I couldn't consign there again- which is fine with me after the way she treated me on the phone. About 3 hours later as I was leaving to go pick up my dress I got a phone call from Elegant Repeats- it was the owner. She continued to tell me that I couldn't come pick up my dress and accused me of lying about my situation. I told her that I was coming to pick up my dress- they had already said I could and they can't tell me that I can't now. I went to pick up my dress and they had made me pay $25 to pick up my OWN dress. From my experience they are very unprofessional and I hope that they change the way that they treat and speak to customers because no one should have to...
Read moreHold tight, it's a long one! Over the weekend, I went wedding dress shopping by myself. Knowing it's prom season, I expected to be ignored or not taken seriously since I was alone. What I got was quite the opposite! Kylee greeted me and gave me a little tour of the bridal gowns. She let me look at them at my own pace, and took them to the dressing room for me when I was ready to try them on. She showed genuine interest in what my wedding was all about and the look I was going for. While deciding what I liked, Brittan and Kylee were the best cheerleaders! Also, for each dress I tried on, every employee that walked by had something kind to say about how I looked. Every employee! I can't believe how well I was treated. It's obvious that the whole staff enjoys working there and cares about their customers. The store itself is clean and welcoming, and they have a fantastic assortment of clothes, shoes, and accessories. I went back Tuesday night and bought the dress of my dreams. I can't thank Kylee, Brittan, and the rest of the Elegant Repeats staff enough for my great experience. Keep...
