Some back story first. Usually when I come into the mall, I am either just going into work or just getting off and am a "just looking" customer. I'll buy things every now and again but working at the mall for 3 years, you lose interest in the stores pretty fast. However, tonight I was hunting for a floral dress for my upcoming formal, and assumed that boutique stores would be my best option. I go into Francesca's and expect to be greeted. I was not, in fact I couldn't find an associate anywhere until I came further into the store. I look around and see two girls sitting behind the cashwrap on their phones showing each other pictures. I was in their line of sight and figured they would atvleast say hi to me, but they did not. I looked through a rack and intentionally walked by them to see if I could get some acknowledgement, but to no avail. I plastered on a "Well, this is awful" smile on my face and walked out with still no acknowledgement of ever being in their store or no "Thank you!" for stopping in. I get it, it's a Wednesday night at Lindale Mall, where it dies at 7:30pm, sometimes earlier, but I really wanted to get a dress tonight and I needed help to build the whole ensemble. I wish I could say that this was my first bad experience, but it's not. Over the years I have had maybe a handful of good experiences with this store's employees.
This store is great if you are an independent shopper and prefer no acknowledgement or any help, but those who do, I do not recommend. Even after several complaints to multiple managers, I still cannot even get a "Hi there" or "Hello!". It's so frustrating because I love the...
