On my first visit to Lindale Pub, I was unfortunately disappointed and will not be returning. Initially, everything was fantastic. Upon entering, we were greeted by a manager and seated promptly. The server arrived almost immediately and was excellent. Notably, she possessed a personality, a rare commodity in today’s service industry. However, our experience took a turn for the worse as we ordered drinks and reviewed the menu. Unfortunately, the situation deteriorated. In 2025, finding a new establishment with competent wait staff who genuinely enjoy their work is challenging. This contributes significantly to a restaurant’s decline. To explain why I will never return to this location, I must share an incident that occurred over the weekend. While browsing the menu, a woman unexpectedly started to freak out. I am uncertain whether she was corporate or a manager, but her treatment and demeanor towards her staff were surprising and concerning. She scolded our server in front of us, which was not only embarrassing for us but also for her. Our server was training a new employee, and the manager referred to him as “that boy.” Her behavior was excessive and disruptive. The atmosphere in the pub was drastically different when we entered compared to the aftermath of her outburst. The staff were no longer cheerful and showed no signs of engagement. We overheard two servers expressing their intention to leave the establishment. After finishing our drinks, we decided to dine elsewhere. The wait staff in the building appeared to be significantly younger than the manager, and it was unacceptable to treat them in such a manner. This incident has been weighing heavily on my mind all weekend, and I am writing to share my experience. I confided in a dear friend about what transpired, and to my astonishment, she revealed that she and her husband visited the establishment a week or two after its opening. To their dismay, the same manager was seated at a table, displaying an extremely unpleasant demeanor towards customers and the wait staff. This made the entire visit exceedingly uncomfortable. Despite this unfortunate encounter, she has since returned to the establishment and noted that the manager was not present during her visit. She expressed her satisfaction with the exceptional service and delectable food...
Read moreWe really enjoyed our visit. I had smash burger, my wife had a chicken, bacon, ranch wrap, and our picky 5 year old had a cheese pizza. The cheese pizza was rated very highly and called his new favorite pizza. He even ate some of the crust which never happens. The burger came with fries which I would probably only give 3 out of 5 stars. They had good flavor but you didn’t get very many and they needed to be cooked longer. The burger was amazing and I would go back for that (and the pizza) alone. I also had a raspberry massacre sour that was really good and which my wife enjoyed as well. The wrap was “good”. Only negative there was that the bacon was less crispy than she prefers. It came with Cole slaw that she enjoyed as well. Service was good, fast, friendly. Maybe trying a bit too hard but that’s ok. I loved that another waiter noticed that my water glass was empty and got a refill. We...
Read moreService was pretty ok was a little on the slower side with just the 3 tables and 2 waitresses in the restaurant. She was nice but asked for a box for my pizza and got a little foam box and had over half of my 12” pizza left. Don’t know how I was suppose to fit it in the box. My partner said his food was not good at all and both our beers were flat and had no head on them so they need to teach their servers how to pour. I got the Crab Rangoon pizza and barely had any crab on it all I could taste was the sweet chili saw and cheese so I don’t know if there was anything else. No coloring for kids either so kids were...
