I had the absolute best experience working with Paula on my engagement ring. The rock I was using is fairly soft on the Mohs hardness scale. For comparison, a diamond scores a 10, and the rock I was using scores about a 5.5, which is more similar to glass. Needless to say, I was nervous about taking it out of the setting it was already in and putting it in a new setting. Paula was highly recommended to me because of her exceptional work with precious stones. And boy am I extremely happy I listened. Paula knew right away what kind of stone she was going to be working with and knew how fragile it was. She helped me pick out a new setting/ring based off of my interests and personality. She never tried to push anything on me. She took her time. It was absolutely delightful. Then the day came to pick up my ring. When she showed me my engagement ring, my eyes teared up. (Some are high, but you get what you pay for) Have bought many items from them over the years and all have appraised well from other jewelers/appraisers. (Many for higher than what we paid as well) Many unique/one of a kind pieces and they sometimes have where you draw random point of sale "instant discounts as well." Usually an additional 5-10% off, but sometimes you get rare higher discount. The staff is very knowledgeable and take the time to explain the details of the piece you are looking at. Many pieces are unique to the shop. Paula is very knowledgeable and I have bought several pieces of jewelry from her for myself and family members. Her prices are great and she will gladly do custom work.
