If I could leave a zero instead of one star, i would. I bought a washer and dryer set here with the extended warranty through Geek Squad. My washing machine has been broken for over a month, and it will be another week before they can get anyone to come look at it. The excuse is that there are no servicers for my area that can be bothered to come out. The original date they had scheduled a repair window was changed by the third party provider they contracted , the day of the supposed repair, to a time that didn't work for my family. The third party also will not schedule a set time during the day as "our techs set their own schedules." They further expect that we wait a minimum of two weeks simply to have the machine looked at and then another potential 2 weeks if not more if a part is needed to replace it.
As a single mother recovering from a car crash with two developmentally delayed children to care for, this is absolutely unacceptable. If the machine could not be repaired in a timely fashion, it needs to be replaced to honor the warranty. Fun fact the warranty expires at the end of the month, and it seems as if the goal is to push service or replacement back until they no longer need to honor it.
Instead, the Geek Squad that is employed by Best Buy has bounced this back and forth to Samsung for weeks, who bounces it back to Geek Squad. This is the most frustrating, lamentable, and deplorable lack of accountability I have ever dealt with from a company of this size. They will not simply replace the machine either, until they can have their technicians come look at it, which goes back to dealing with the third party company who can't even be bothered to be polite or answer phones.
In short: BUY FROM ANYWHERE ELSE, THEY WILL NOT HONOR THE PURCHASED WARRANTY AND TAKE NO ACCOUNTABILITY OR HAVE AN ACTIONABLE PLANS TO HONOR IT, ASIDE FROM "PLEASE WAIT ANOTHER 1-2 BUSINESS DAYS TO HAVE SOMEONE MAYBE...
Read moreThis branch sucks. I bought a laptop at a warehouse open box sale. After repeated attempts to fix with the manufacturer and a factory reset I was resigned to having to return it within 14 days per the policy that was discussed during purchase. I called the park meadows location to discuss and they said no problem. They even helped pull up my reciept, which I had lost, using my credit card. I visited this branch since it was closer and they told me that I could not return the product and had to call the geek squad (even though they were sitting at the booth right next to me) to see if they could fix since all sales were final and I could not return. They showed me a memo which they said was on the box that I purchased the laptop in as reference. The memo referred to appliances and to televisions over 40 inches,I pointed this out to them and they said it applies to everthing, even though the memo did not state this. I told them that I didnt get this information in my box and was told I can return within 14 days if there is a hardware issue. They told me too bad,and wouldnt help me further. I called the park meadows loation, told them the story and they said they would help since that it is obviously their policy. I got the money refunded to my card, thanks to Sabrina, and then called customer relations to make sure I had the policy correct. They stated that the 14 day rerurn policy is accurate for hardware issues, even from warehouse open box sales and apologized for this stores error and attititude. Don't bother going to this store, they are just misinformed, incompetent and unwilling to do...
Read moreI like this Best Buy store since they tend to have a good stock of whatever gadgets one might need - whether it be a laptop, phone, printer, refrigerator filters, etc; yet, it's not as overwhelming and overcrowded as some of the larger BB stores. The team at this store also seems to be bit more dedicated to hearing out customer challenges and providing suggestions/solutions on how to solve them and they also are a friendlier team than some of the other stores - guess it could be because it's more of a suburb-setting vs the craziness of Park Meadows or Denver. I've also had their Car Audio team perform a couple of dash cam installs, and they've done a great job. To their credit, both cars were a bit of a nightmare - let's be honest, no one enjoys working on Audi's when it comes to electronics, and installing a front/rear dash cam on a Jeep Wrangler (or any other car where the roof can be removed) can be a challenge. Yet, the install team did awesome. The only thing I would say if you are having an install done - be 100% sure that you ordered all the required parts, as Best Buy does not stock extra parts in-store and not having a correct cable or adapter can mean having to postpone your appointment. So I would strongly suggest that you check with the installers the day you purchase your dash cam, stereo, or whatever, because sometimes the store associates do not order the right things or the website misses a...
