Dairy Queen Treat — Restaurant in Centennial

Today we went in to get just some vanilla ice cream. One of our kids ordered a cup, must have confused the register lady, and when she asked a cone or cup he said cone because he thought there must have been no cups(just a simple mistake) We politely asked if we could get a cup and the register lady said “I thought I asked him that”, but in a rude tone. The kid said thank you, but the register lady refused to make eye contact with him or say anything. She was making the ice cream in the back (btw, all we ordered was vanilla ice cream in a cup is it really that hard?) and she acted as if we were a huge waste of time. We weren’t asking for anything difficult, all it takes is undertaking mistakes are made! No one else was in DQ while this happened/ while we were in there. Last time we went the customer service was excellent. Just putting this review up for people to keep in mind that good customer service really is nice for if a mess up is made. We did confront the lady about her being rude and she said she was not being rude and for us to exit, which instead would have helped the situation by realizing and saying that she was indeed rude and apologizing. The people that work here are always ready to go and make my order as quick as possible, they are friendly as well. The main issue I have is how absolutely dirty the store is. I come 3 times a week and the same exact ice cream spills are not cleaned up. The floor and grout Is absolutely disgusting. And they never wipe the entire tables down is so gross to see the exact same spill of ice cream on the same tables on the same spots never wiped clean. Like come on guys clean the edges of the tables and the tops equally sooo gross we don't even want to sit inside anymore. Also the counter where we pick up our items is gross every single time we come in. It's such a shame to be in a nice area and have lazy or un trained cleaning tactics. Take 5 minutes walk your store every hour and just look for the filth it's...

This is the nicest, cleanest, and most helpful Dairy Queen I’ve been to in years. It reminded me of the Dairy Queen I grew up by that all my friends worked at(it’s rare to find that level of kindness in businesses these days). I want to give an extra Thank you to Samantha who took care of us at the register. I walked in not knowing what the kids wanted. Sam was very helpful with suggestions. My daughter was indecisive, so Sam was gracious to offer a small cup with my smoothie for my daughter to share. When we went to pick it up, the had made my small and a mini for her(without charging extra).
