LOFT — Local services in Centennial

The store is clean and things are in order. The associates greeted my friend and I when we entered. I like the fact that we were able to browse without being bothered by any of them. HOWEVER, a couple of the ladies pretended to organise things in the changing rooms while we were trying out clothes. I had this feeling like they're watching us to make sure we're not stealing things. On top of that, two other ladies had this disbelief expressions on their faces when it came time for us to pay and my friend, who works at another loft, wanted to use her associate ID! They were in such disbelief that they actually asked my friend for her "associate ID card, " which of course doesn't exist!!! We're not whites maybe that's why?? They are these 4 old white ladies. Don't want to make it about race, but seriously???!! No, those clothes are not worth stealing for and is it that impossible for my friend to work at a loft???!!! Not cool southglen Loft ladies. I purchased a top and the first time I washed it, it shrunk up to be too short and crooked across the bottom (used the hand wash cycle on my washer and laid flat to dry). I brought it back with my receipt and they wouldn't even look at it. An older woman was at the register, and as soon as I said I washed it, a young blond girl in her 20's came over and said since I washed it I couldn't return it. I tried to explain that it wasn't defective until I washed it, but they didn't care. I won't be wasting my money there again. $40.00 down the drain. I used to love their clothes, but now it's few and far between that I find anything I like and their quality isn't as good as it used to be. Wow! I hate shopping, but I just had my BEST retail experience EVER!!! First I wandered around the store and browsed. The two sales associates let me do my thing and were incredibly polite. The store was clean and in perfect order. When I spoke up and asked for help finding a dress, the woman (short haired brunette) who helped me listened to exactly what I said about the event and body type and pulled no less than 10 dresses that fit the description. I tried the perfect dress but it was a bit snug. The size I needed wasn't in the store so she ordered it for me. I then asked for help accessorizing and she found several great necklaces to chose from. Finally, I asked for shoe advice and she was super helpful! Overall an outstanding experience!
