We're so excited to see a new, local, coffee shop open up around us! The original Huckleberry location is fantastic but too far away to visit very often, so it's awesome that now we have one in this part of town.
We visited on a Sunday morning, when it was nice and quiet, for breakfast and coffee. The breakfast burrito was delicious, the spicy salsa actually had some good kick to it, the lattes were perfectly blended, and the merch is beautiful (it took a lot of self restraint to not buy one of everything). We also enjoyed a couple of the morning pastries, a scone that was lemony and dense (in a good way) and a morning bun that was buttery and flaky with a nice dusting of cinnamon sugar on top.
The only bad thing I have to say about our visit was that there was no music playing so it was sometimes uncomfortably quiet and it felt like we were in a library and had to whisper to one another. But that could have just been something overlooked or forgotten about when opening...

I asked them to please make me a new cappuccino because I just don’t want to drink coffee that has been in a paper cup. Yes I am a coffee snob… So they did but I guess I ruined their day and they ruined my cappuccino - the foam was not nice and milk was not warm enough. I didn’t want to bother them anymore so I just sucked it up. If the manager is reading this - please buy a toaster oven or...
