I shop at home goods all the time but today I went in and thought I found a really cute pink dog stroller that was $69.99 I noticed there was some dog hair on the item & the wheels were a bit worn however I figured it wouldn't be a huge deal to clean for the price since it was clearly a returned item. (being that there was no plastic packaging or anything but the price sticker). I knew I didn't have room in my trunk for it at the moment. So I went home and placed the item on hold, when I returned to purchase the item I was greeted with a very unfriendly face at the store but disregarded due to my excitement to purchase the item still. when the store associate pulled it up to ring us out the manager ( michelle) stopped her and said the item is $100 and sent her back saying the item was a different brand and implying we switched the tags on the item. (which id love to pull the security footage just to prove that we didn't) but nonetheless it was insulting she even gave off the indication that we would do so. I waited while the associate came back and while she was gone the manager printed off a different ticket and began to place it on the stroller when she returned and i asked how much they tried to price the stroller at and she said $100 and i told her it was clear the item was a return since it had been used and she once again implied that we switched the price tag ( which also wouldn't have even been possible because when she tried to pry it off it left sticker residue everywhere so it would have been noticeable) and I also pointed out how there was no packaging like the other ones there so i knew it had been used and she made little sly remarks saying they don't sell used items. I left because i seen her negative attitude and dislike for her workplace was overpowering her ability to gain insight to why the stroller was probably priced differently and there is no point in arguing with people who lack listening abilities however I can reassure that her rude indications & poor customer service skills as a leader of a store set the example for everyone & it made it a very unpleasant experience. I will not be shopping there again & we be SURE to use my social platform to make everyone aware...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThoroughly enjoyed shopping at this location, a few days ago. There were numerous employees available and they were all super helpful and welcoming. Location was clean and well organized. Most definitely the best Home Goods that I have been into. Was killing time, waiting for a friend to meet me for dinner. Had the opportunity to see how the management (Spencer) interacted with the staff and customers and Spencer was extremely professional, kind, dedicated to helping me as a customer, as well as his team. I came in to return an extremely bizarre horse head statue, that was purchased by an unfortunate very senile relative of mine. The darn thing was nearly frightening to look at, it was sooo unpleasant. So, she of course, no longer had the receipt, the price sticker, and she pretty much did not recall purchasing the thing. I had seen a Home Goods price sticker on it for $49.99, originally, which was now removed, I suppose by her. So, I am standing at the register with the terrible bug head, no receipt or price tag.and Spencer quickly came to help. I apologized and briefly explained the situation. By this point, I was anticipating just donating this ātreasureā to Goodwill. And I told Spencer my planned resolution. However he very politely, helpful and with great respect and kindness, he went online on his phone, on the HG website, and offered me a store credit for the $50 thing. That was intense customer service, and truly appreciated Spencer, for going so very far and beyond. Goodness knows, what new āfindā Mom will most likely use the store credit on. I will be certain to keep the receipt!! So, the store was clean, organized, well stocked, and thanks to Spencerās obvious hard dedication and coaching, had fantastic employees on his staff. Best HG and so blown away by my interaction...
Ā Ā Ā Read more1/22/22- Horrible experience today. We had returned to the store because we had seen a book case we had wanted and had decided to get it. When we tried to get one of their furniture movers a guy by the front yelled at us saying only employees can touch them. I even told him that we were trying to buy a item from them. We went in then I had to stand by the piece while my mom went back to him to get him to help us with it. He told us to take the ticket off it and go to the register while he took it to the door.
Then after standing in a really long line because the store can't handle the amount of people it gets, we then got yelled at by the lady at the register because she had to see the item we wanted to buy and the guy had disappeared. When her and I went to look for it she then yelled at another customer who was using a furniture mover to move a chair.
If this place is going to sell furniture they really need to change how they do it and their policies. Other stores allow customers to use these carts to move stuff with no issues. The way they do things allows the workers to treat customers like trash.
This experience makes me to never want to shop at any HomeGoods store again let alone this one. They need to change how they do things and get employees that do not mistreat customers. Do not shop at this store and if you shop at any HomeGoods store, go to a...
