āTerrible customer serviceā I asked a floor associate for assistance and only got a finger- point direction to the product on the WM website where it showed available at this location. After telling her it wasn't there she did not offer any further assistance, just said too bad we are out. So I asked the next person I saw for additional assistance. She did ask for the sku number and called for the backroom to look for it but said at the same time "I wish you had asked one of the floor associates because they can access that information easier than I can and I have a person to ring up." Then after that she told me the website info is never correct and I should have called first. This incident occurred this morning, Friday Feb. 13, 2023. It is so embarrassing to be told how in the wrong a customer is by a sales associate when I simply asked for assistance, after not being greeted or offered assistance by any of 3 associates that I passed in the store. I suppose this is World Markets customer philosophy that they train now, but it's very sad...

Asking for a particular item was told no we don't carry that here only to look around and actually find it sitting on the shelf not five feet from where the employee was standing when you told me they didn't carry it...?!? We asked for a discount to take the floor model and the manager very rudely refused that, saying āI would have to build another one.ā So the options he gave us were to wait until November for them to restock or pay full price for a damaged table.
