scrolling on my Instagram seen this place advertised on Denver eats, I believe.
We were all excited.
When we got there, the staff was taking pictures, was fun watching them. The young lady behind the counter was pretty busy with the family in front of us, understandable. I said excuse me, as I wasn’t sure where to order. Then everyone that was taking pictures piled behind the counter.
I again tried to get someone’s attention. Was not hard to tell that one of them was hung over, scooping ice cream in a metal bowl as if he was the only person in the building (munchies?)
I’m literally standing at the counter when you first enter the door with my two grandsons for over 5 minutes with not anyone behind the counter paying any attention to my many attempts to catch their eye. Meanwhile another family member was outside watching, noticed the young girl look over at us several times but not say anything. He too got frustrated. Another customer walked in and walked around us looking confused too. That customer walked up to the register and proceeded to order, I had been standing there for over 5 minutes with not one employee saying a word! how can you ignore two cute little kids with excitement on their face??
I made several efforts including smiling and waving my hand anddddd saying excuse me, politely !
I had to walk around the counter to the register to order, WHERE DO YOU ORDER?
Maybe some arrows or feet prints on the floor so it is not as confusing. I didn’t see any signs directing where to order. It was a bit chaotic in there!
At the point of standing close to the register more customers were coming in. Now I felt frustrated because another employee approached those customers after I just left that counter.
Came here for the experience of unique food, donuts and shakes. Getting frustrated was not on my agenda. I was upset, upset that the adults behind the counter ignored children & their cuteness and excitement waiting patiently even!!!
This experience wasn’t for me it was for them.
Ordered a Nutella smash donut, Nutella shake & an Oreo shake! I didn’t feel $27 was too much, I did not leave a tip because We were left standing at the counter. The kids thought that this experience was amazing and I think it was due to the older Gentleman coming over to ask them how the donut and shake tasted! That made their day for sure and mine!
I’m leaving 4 stars because, if you are working in this type of environment, you need to be customer oriented. Greeting the customers as they come in and not leave them standing at the counter for several minutes without saying a word. It was also brought to my attention the young lady didn’t want to serve me, particularly me. I’m just a grandma treating her grandchildren to donuts and shakes!

Read moreWent on a Sunday morning around 11am. It was not busy at all and we were greeted by at least three workers. The donuts looked absolutely delicious. We ordered two smashes (donut with ice cream) and they were good. Service was fast.
However, we got a brownie smash and it had hairs baked into the brownie pieces. On top of that, there was also a very small piece of metal wire in that smash (so small I almost ate it-you can see it in the picture, it’s the line next to the red M&M between the two brownies on the lower half of the donut in the picture). Not sure if it’s the brownie manufacturer or what, but I wasn’t able to finish my item for fear there was more hair/metal in it. The donut itself didn’t taste great, but the ice cream and toppings covered up that part.
Lastly, the lobby and bathroom were not clean. It was obvious that the night crew did not sweep/mop the lobby the day before. The bathroom clearly hadn’t been cleaned in days, it was gross and there is no hook to hang your purse. They also are clearly lacking storage space because there were dozens of boxes in the lobby with product.
Overall, it was a cute place (especially if you’re going to take aesthetic Instagram pictures) but I can’t say I’ll make the hour drive down again...
Read moreI hate to leave this review because we have been to this place plenty of times. We bought mini donuts decoration kits for several holidays, tried almost everything in their menu, waited last Mother’s Day because they were understaffed and order Christmas donuts for our holidays parties but last weekend we stopped by for their Nutella milkshake (which is great) and this random guy (maybe mid 20s) was just standing by the counter doing nothing when asked if he could help us he said yes but while making the milkshake with gloves he kept pulling on his pants (disgusting) and then he scooped the ice cream into his hands and told us “that’s how we do it”. This is INCREDIBLY unsanitary. No transfer container!!! when asked to start over he was condescending and just straight rude. Then while we were leaving (after someone else remade the milkshake) he was waving and blowing kisses at my husband which was as disturbing. I don’t know how a person that immature, unsanitary and rude can be client facing but it was a major red flag after frequenting this place and having nothing but good experiences for...
