Hi Everyone, my name is Brian Katana, my friends call me Mr. Pepsi, & id like to share with all of you my experience at Kings!
Before goin to Kings, im like all of you, i looked around at Jewelers but i never felt "comfortable"...i heard about a Jeweler in Rochester (il leave name out)...and i learned that Jeweler is nutin but a con artist thief.
So i tried Kings...I have been going to Kings Jewelers for a few years now & i gota admit, im very happy with their overall honesty.
Lets be real reviewers...when it comes to Jewlery, we all wana go to someone we can trust, someone who doesnt do the "swap out" with real jewlery to fake jewelry, someone who wont take advantage of us...but overall we all wana go to someone who will guide us in the jewelery world on what to buy & not spend unneccessary thousands foolishly, will give us honest prices when it comes to value on Jewelry we already have, etc...and i cannot think of goin anywhere else other than Kings.
I have come to know the Manager Mike & Sales Professional Rudy, along with the rest of the staff...Mike & Rudy are very cool, honest & upfront, ive done business with them for again a few years now & in that time, ive had some of my Jewelry repaired, bought a Rolex Watch, bought many Bulova Watches & a few Necklaces off of them to name a few, all at the same time Mike & Rudy gave me great advice & there were times Mike advised me on other options like looking at other locations for a better price...in short ive REALLY COME TO TRUST Kings at the Mall & ive come to have the utmost respect in Mike & Rudy.
In conclusion when it comes to looking for solid advice, pricing, buying or looking on getting your Jewelry appraised with the utmost honesty or any Jewelry questions, please give Mike and/or Rudy a chance...they will NOT mislead you. If you do decide to pay them a visit, tell Mike or Rudy that Mr. Pepsi sent ya! Have a...
Read moreMy fiancé purchased my wedding band from King's Jewelry in October, with plans to propose in December. When he bought the ring, he know my size and told them. (I am a size 5 & the sample was a 7.) Rather than letting him know that sometimes stones can fall off from being resized that drastically, they sold him the ring. My fiancé proposed on December 5th, and by December 7th, 1 diamond had already fallen out. When he received the resized jewelry back from Kings in October, 3 diamonds were also missing from the wedding band that came directly from their store. They clearly didn't even take the time to inspect it, and even with a quick look over them, it was very obvious they were missing. We took my ring back at the beginning of March because of 6 missing diamonds. They took a week to decide to send it back to the manufacturer to have it fixed. It is now April 6th and we just got a call that they are unable to fix my ring and they have to send us a new one, which really bothers me. The ring I am getting is NOT the ring my fiancé proposed with. They also said I won't have this new ring until at least May 10th. Seriously? When I was on the phone with the manager of King's last week, he mentioned that they don't go to the trouble of expedited shipping to get stuff sooner, rather they "go with the slower UPS ground." WHY would someone tell an upset customer that? I am not happy and will never use...
Read moreRudy and Carrie were honest and not pushy. I have worked with Rudy many times in the past and he is always professional and courteous. I would recommend going to kings in monaca Pennsylvania and giving them your business. Kings is a family owned store. Dealing with them was a much more personal experience, especially compared to experiences I've had recently at Kay's jewelers and Jared. This week I went to Jared's and then kings to see about repairing my wife's engagement and wedding ring. It had some loose diamonds in it. The gold also looked tarnished and in really bad shape. I know that gold doesn't tarnish so I don't know exactly what the problem was. She used some Walmart generic brand of jewelry cleaner and it came out looking horrible. Normally she uses kings jewelry cleaner and never has a problem. Anyhow, Jared told me that it would cost over a $1000 to fix what was wrong and refurbish the ring. I took it to kings and Rudy was very honest and told me it was not that big of a deal to fix. He is only charging me $100 and that includes fixing the prong for the solitaire Leo diamond that was bent, polishing the gold and fixing the smaller loose diamonds in the wrap. I could not believe that Jared would try to rip me off like that. All I know is that I'm glad I got a second opinion and and glad I...
