Harbor Freight — Local services in Centerville

Excellent customer service from Monica! I had a problem with the tire inflator I bought 3 weeks ago, and Monica did a great job of helping me with the exchange and making things right.

I'm so glad we finally have a Harbor Freight location on this side of town. The store is immaculate, and the staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be back! You can't beat the prices, and the value on what you buy is pretty darn good. I've bought a fair amount of tools from them over the years and most of them have held up pretty well. We buy a lot of our batteries from them too and have been very happy with them.

One thing I would love to see added is hardware / fasteners! I know the profit margins for the big hardware stores on that stuff is pretty good so I bet there's plenty of opportunity for a company like Harbor Freight to undercut them on the price and pass on the savings to the consumer. And if someone comes in to buy a box of screws, there's a good chance they'll buy something else too! Food for thought.

Visited store on 2/24//25...

Bob at Centerville, Ohio location needs a attitude adjustment. He genuinely got upset that I wanted to try and use a 20% off coupon on a open box item I simply asked him if we could just scan the item and scan the coupon and if it worked if he would let it be. Rolled his eyes and said fine. Needless to say the coupon worked and I ended up getting what I wanted but the fact that this guy doesn't know how to do his job properly was very agitating I've shopped it several Harbor freights we have four in my location and no other manager has ever given me crap about wanting to use a coupon. He isn't management material IMO. 2 stars because I still got my item. If I left empty handed tho it would have been 1 star. Tried to discuss it on FB HF group page but the declined my post. Store was clean, but as soon as I walked in a lady with reddish dark hair immediately goes "What do you need?" Not in a question tone but more of a get out of here tone. No smiles, just a blank expression like I shouldn’t be here. I even asked her to help me find something, and she showed me it but after "I said thank you so much, have a good day" I was met with a blank expression and not a response. Literally no response. Then as I am leaving I tell her thank you again and another blank expression and she turned away? My first time here, and I drove 25 minutes to check this out rather than the Xenia one which is a 10 minute drive.. Maybe a bad experience, or she was having a bad day but makes me really not want to return to the...
