It all started with a simple search for the perfect sports coat for Mother’s Day. I searched my usual stores including one of my go to spot Nordstrom Rack. I usually find what I’m looking for there, in this case they had my sports coat but did not have my size 40R. So, I went to my trusted app where they had my size and even another sports coat I purchased together. It was May 5th around 8:00 in the morning I ordered both sports coats, but the delivery date was May 15th – 17th after Mother’s Day. It was a good deal, so I purchased(order#424249316) and waited for the delivery email communication. Mother’s Day came and went and on Monday May 15th I went to the store to see if my order was ready. Once at the store the employee advised me that she could not find my order and it was not there. I checked the app while in the store and it said arriving between May 15th – 17Th. The employee said to wait for the ready to pick-up email with the barcode before returning to the store. It’s May 17th and the app said preparing for pick-up, I called the store and the employee said he could not find my order and it sometime can take a day or two before it arrives at the store. Today is May 18th and 13 days has passed with no sight of my order, I called customer service where she had the store check for my order when she returned to the call, I was advised that my order was delivered to the store on May 9th four days after I placed it. So not only did my order arrive four days later in time for Mother’s Day it sat there with no notification for 13 days. At this point my frustration was at its wits end. She advised me that one of the sports coats may have been lost in transit and to go to the store to pick-up the one jacket that arrived on the 9th, which I was not advised via the traditional email or via the app. Right after the call amazing I received an email stating that one of my sports coats is ready for pick-up and the other was returned for a refund. A sports coat that I never received, which made it look like I returned it. I got to the store where I asked to speak with the manager and explained to both the floor and store manager what had happened and why there was a disconnect with this communication. They both just said “I’m sorry and we have been having several issues with online orders and with the 3rd party delivery company…” as a customer dealing with Nordstrom any service failure whether it’s not Nordstrom’s fault or not for them to blame the 3rd party is unacceptable. When there is a service failure I the customer only see the face of NORDSTROM not even NORDSTROM RACK, I don’t see the 3rd party. Nordstrom needs to train and give their customer service agents along with store managers more tools to resolve horrific situations like this. So, on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being highly likely and 1 being not likely how likely do you think I will refer or do business with NORDSTROM or NORDSTROM RACK...
Read moreOn 07/15/22 I decided to put on brand New Ted Bakers sandals I bought a while back at Nordstrom to walk down the stairs in my house. They look a little childish so had them put away. As soon as I put them on At barely the 2nd step down the stairs my right foot automatically slipped because of how slippery the sole material was,100% polyvinyl chloride. All of my weight landed on my right glute right on the corner end of the stair. It was excruciating. The description never warned about the dangers of a slip and fall. I now see you can practically skate with the sandals on. I had an ultrasound done on my glute to check it was maybe a blood clot no properly dissolving, Hematoma, they said I have scar tissue accumulation and the dent was caused by the trauma from landing on the pointed corner of the stair and very likely will be permanent. I need physical therapy and very likely will need plastic surgery because of the large dent and bump full of scar tissue. I am in constant pain from my glute and back. I had an ultrasound done on my right glute 08/5/22. I have pictures of the extreme bruising the day of the incident and days after as well as the current disfigurement taken by a doctor. I am sure there are other victims of this poorly and dangerous designed shoe. If I had worn any other footwear I would have never slipped!!!!! You can run up and down these stairs with Nike flip flops no problem. I took pictures of the bruising that same day and 3 days later. I also have professional photos that were taken by medical doctor of the current state of my injury. I had a friend try on the sandals, knowing what happened to me, she was curious and was holding on to the rail she took a step down and also slipped immediately. She was so upset as well and in disbelief that these sandals were sold and made with such negligence. You are more then welcome to try them on yourself I promise you you will fall without a doubt coming at just the first stair. Jassey Bow Jelly Flip Flop is made exactly of the same material. On the website it says you can use them on a casual day there was no warning about not using them inside your house. I posted a review on NORDSTORM but it was never posted. I'm in the Nordy club and spend so much money here I can't believe they...
Read moreDO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION I absolutely love Nordstroms Rack..well until today. I spend over $5,000 a year between Nordstroms and Norstroms Rack every year. I get invited to private events, private showing on merchandise prior to it being released to the public, etc. I have come to this particular Nordstroms about 2 to 3 times a week literally since they opened since my kids are always growing out of their clothes so fast..I spend a lot with them to say the least. I have never had a problem with them since I never return anything; well today I tried to and it was a nightmare. I wasn;t even trying to return, I was trying to exchange. ALL TAGS ATTACHED AND NEVER WORN. I had a couple hundred dollars worth of clothes in my hand to purchase and my mother had bought my daughter some pants that were too small, so I tried to include this exchange in my new purchase (by the way it was a lousy $8) and they wouldn't do it! I gave them my moms email to look up the purchase and he said he would only look back 90 days. I told him it was about 4 months ago and he said no "our policies aren't as friendly as Nordstroms". Well to be quite honest no one is talking about Nordstroms, and I would have been treated better by Walmart or Target. Through all the commotion the pants I was trying to return disappeared. The manager Chris couldn't find them. He could care less about his customers with the attitude he had. It's sad they treat people this way. Since they seemed to care so much about $8 I let them steal my pants that I tried to return, gave them back the $250 worth of clothes I was about to buy, and went to Old Navy next door to buy my daughter clothes. Very cute stuff in fact at WAY better prices. Enjoy my $8 pants................I do not recommend this Norstroms Rack, you are not treated with any worth whatsoever. And when I told the story to my mom she was sad because she lives down the street and goes here all the time, but says she will not step foot in there again either. Haven't gotten a chance to tell my husband but I'm positive he won't either. Loosing 3 life long customers over $8 seems unintelligent but regardless of my trying to speak to a manager (Chris) to resolve the issue, nothing was done. Very...
