Came with my family on a Saturday night around 6pm and ordered a carne asada burrito and carne asada street tacos, well I had eaten there before at Lunch time and even took a photo of my dish then and it was very good, they used a nice slice of lime on the plate it looked juicy and tasted good, I didn't mind then paying $2 per taco, HOWEVER the hallmark of any good Mexican restaurant is CONSISTENCY, CONSISTENCY, CONSISTENCY and did I mention CONSISTENCY to QUALITY & PRESENTATION!!!!, it should LOOK the same and TASTE the same every damn time BUT the food we got was obviously several several hours OLD, the meat was rubber and discolored and milky white looking due to over long storage which is what happens when it sits in a hot steam table for WAY WAY WAY TOO LONG without being discarded for sake of quality, hey but of course they probably SAVED THEMSELVES some money serving me old food, nasty OLD MILKY WHITE RUBBER -OVER STEAMED MEAT but they sure as hell lost my business, the young waitress wouldn't even bring more salsa to our table with the tostada style chips, and asks us only after we were completely done if we wanted more salsa, and on top of all that they do not know how to wrap a burrito, WHAT! ARE YOU SERIOUS? the name is "Mi Burrito" and they cannot even wrap one AND we got NO LIME SLICES with our tacos or burrito, NONE!, OMG... so me and my wife had our burritos falling apart in our hands as we tried to salvage what was left of our 30 dollar mess of sloppy rubber meat cuisine. THIS RESTAURANT RIPPED ME OFF of my very hard earned money DO NOT RISK EATING HERE!! when they put their own pocket book before yours....

Q) Where did you have lunch today, Rodney? A) Well, Rodney, I wanted to try a new spot to review, and seeing how I haven't had Mexican food in awhile, I chose nearby Mi Burrito Mexican Grill to kill two birds with one stone.
Q) Does Mi Burrito have lunch specials? A) Unfortunately, no. I did appreciate whole fried tortillas being served with salsa to start. Makes the complimentary appetizer interactive! The salsa had good heat to it.
Q) Which menu item did you decide upon, Rodney? A) Mi Burrito has breakfast available all day, so I decided on a hearty plate of machaca con huevos. The machaca was seasoned well, tender & fortified me for the rest of the day. It was served with rice, beans &, just in case you don't have enough carbs, warm tortillas.
Q) Would you recommend Mi Burrito Mexican Grill? A) Rodney, I would. Not having lunch specials was a drag, but Mi Burrito doesn't skimp on portions. The restaurant is local to me, so I can see myself stopping by from time to time when I'm craving good...
Read moreStopped by Mi Burrito on a Saturday evening in July. Restaurant had a few patrons. Smaller size restaurant. BF and I opted to get food to go. You order and pay up front and they'll bring it to you. Their burritos are served wet (with red sauce on them) so a little different than we were expecting but we went with it. We both opted for the Jr. Burrito I got shredded chicken, bf got grilled chicken. They put cheese on the outside normally, I opted to get mine on the inside of my burrito. We waited maybe about 10 minutes for our food And we were on our way! Not a long wait at all. Overall we both enjoyed our burritos. My shredded chicken was very tender and cooked nicely. I felt that it didn't have any seasoning though I'm Used to chicken simmered in a sauce or seasoned. It was still good though. As I said, the burrito was good overall.I'd get it again. Would be great if they had a spicy version. Bf thought his grilled chicken was good and had flavor.
The chips are large circles like tostadas but very nice and crisp.
