Believe it or not, this was my very 1st time going to Olive Garden. The commercials always look so good at 3am..lol..i just had a salad...giant sized.. came with my pasta, and pasta fettuccine with broccoli. It was good. Not remarkable but good. I wasn't very hungry and not feeling great so ill have to go back when feeling better and update my review when I eat something a little more exciting. What I did think was crazy good was the hot artichoke dip. My friends, if u have nothing else, you've got to try that. I didn't get to eat a whole bunch of that, but what I did eat was seriously good. Just writing about it has me craving it now. I really can't blame Olive Garden for the 3 stars I gave for atmosphere. They did nothing wrong but I decided to say something in case people that do these things in public eateries read and realize that maybe they should modify their behaviors for the sake of others trying to enjoy a meal. So, the 1st was a lady in a group of 4. The busses were clearing a table and apparently the woman thought they were being too loud. I didn't, but her table was closer, so maybe. Instead of maybe asking these guys to be quieter, this woman thought it a good idea to yell pretty much at the top of her lungs, COULD YOU BE ANY LOUDER? DAMN !!!!! I jumped in my seat when she did that. I'm gonna assume others did too because every head was turned her way. The busses also appeared startled and finished up so quiet that you could hear a pin drop. This should have made this woman happy, right? No, it did not. Once the Busters left the area, she proceeded to complain loudly for a good 15 minutes. Everyone in that small dining area could hear her every word. Now, I'm big on when you go out to eat, your conversation should stay at your table. Other tables should not have to listen to what you're talking about. Yet, there are many people that seem to think that every table in the building should be exposed to their conversation. For those of you that are reading this and you know you do that, please stop. We want to have our own conversations. Getting back to the lady that I was complaining about, for the entire hour and a half that they were there along with us, her conversation was so loud that we heard every word. I'm not kidding you guys, I wanted to say, excuse me, can you be any louder? My second complaint, is about a child. I know, that's horrible. This little boy was about 7 years old. From the time they were seated, till the time that we left, he screamed at the top of his lungs. His face was red his nose was running, the mother carried him throughout. Even when their food came she stood holding him. What sucked even more was that she stood holding that screaming child directly behind my boyfriend. Maybe 2 feet away at the most. His screams were ear piercing and nerve shattering. He didn't scream out any words. Just wordless screams. I could still hear him screaming out in the parking lot when we left. Can you imagine? Now, I realize that kids have a mind of their own and that they do things very often at the most inopportune times, leaving you with no recourse. I get it, but lady, why on earth would you hold your child and stand behind someone trying to eat? What is wrong with you? Anyone reading this that does it as well, what is wrong with you too? If I sound harsh, I don't apologize. DON'T DO THAT. IT'S NEVER OKAY. Never, ever, ever. A few minutes standing there while picking your child up to take him outside and calm him would've been hard to bear, but to stand there the entire time? Again, WHAT, is wrong with you? I was grinding my teeth the entire time and we had to take our food to go. My BF, is so polite that he'd never say a word in a situation like this. I would have loved to, but what do you say to someone doing this? Uh, excuse me, can you take your screaming child outside and find out what's wrong with him? Or, excuse me, can you guys go home so the rest of us can eat or even hear ourselves think? Actually, the mother did know what was...

Free dessert for email club members, no purchase necessary
Having been to Olive Garden only twice before, I've never been to my hometown location. It's quite popular, with the long lines out the door on any given night, but I've never made my way to this location, even though I live minutes away. Receiving my free dessert email, I came by for a quickie
Pumpkin cheesecake- The attendant was expecting I would order something off the menu. Later, a manager or someone higher up let me know of Olive Garden's lunch specials, trying to get me to order something. Nope! I wanted the dessert that piqued my interest the most - the pumpkin cheesecake to go! This slice of wonderfulness was rich, creamy & tart with a subtle pumpkin flavor. Looking at the menu online, the pumpkin cheesecake was supposed to be drizzled with caramel sauce & served with whipped cream. That's okay, though, as caramel would've added excess sugar. I loved the ginger cookie crumble on top, adding that sensational crunch on both the top & bottom of the large slice.
Service was good. I was in & out in a few minutes, so didn't have water & bread served to me. Ample seating, with open & more private areas to dine at.
Parking is in a private lot, at the Plaza 183 shopping center. Olive Garden is located on the left of La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries.
Another birthday coupon under my belt! The pumpkin cheesecake was decadently rich & decidedly wonderful. I had my free dessert to go, and I was gone within a few minutes. An A for effort goes to my attendant & the other person in their attempts to try to get me to order something, but alas, Senor Cheapo wins again! I look forward to coming back next time my birthday rolls around, and maybe going for the zeppole, if not just helping myself to the pumpkin cheesecake, yet again.
Highly...
Read more**NOT TRUSTWORTHY Two weeks ago I took my family for dinner here and my son left his fitbit watch. We had been gone about 20 minutes and we called the restaurant to see if they had found the watch and the stewardess confirmed that she had found it (even described it to me) and said that she would put it away with the manager so that we can pick it up the next day. My husband went in (spoke with manager Jose Polanco) and they said they could not find the watch. We told him that makes no sense, they told his they would hold it and he said that he would look in with the other managers to find it and call us and mail it out since we did not live in the area. We were ok with that. 3 DAYS PASS and not call from this "manager". So we called him, he proceeded to tell us there was no watch found. We were very frustrated at this point and all he could say was "its not here" and ask "what girl did you speak with?". We didn't get her name but we told him that we can tell you what time and day we were there and he just kept saying, we cant tell you who was working. We never asked the girls name but for him to do his customer service and see WHO THE GIRL WAS and where the girl put the watch...he just kept brushing us off. *DO NOT COME TO THIS RESTAURAUNT BECASE THE STAFF WILL TAKE YOUR PROPERTY IF YOU MISTAKINGLY LEAVE IT AND THE MANAGERS DO NOT CARE ABOUT ASSISTING GUESTS. ALSO, THEY ARE NOT BB ACCREDITED SO YOU CANT EVEN SUBMIT A...
