Buffalo Circle members received an email for free snack-size wings Â===
Made a quick pit stop to my local Buffalo Wild Wings to redeem my email offer. One of the things that put me off about BWW the few times I've been here were the masses of sports fans dining here. Loud, sometimes obnoxious, sometimes knuckleheaded. But, come to find out, lunch hours aren't bad. There was only 1 other party here when I arrived on Sunday.
Quick confession - I've never had the wings at Buffalo Wild Wings. I love wings as much as the next guy, so I was giddy with anticipation to see what BWW's wings are all about.
The friendly manager, Bryan, let me sample a few of their wing sauces to see what I would like, the mango habanero & Asian zinger to be exact. The mango habanero had the taste of mango with a finishing note of high heat form the habanero. The Asian Zinger was sweet chili sauce that I'm accustomed to using for dipping chicken & eggrolls. Asian zinger was my pick for my wings.
I came to find out the snack-size wings came with 5 wings and choice of fries or carrots & celery. Snack? That's my lunch right there! I chose to go healthy by ordering the carrots & celery, but with Caesar as dipping sauce. Hey, I was sorta healthy ;p
While waiting for my order, I chatted it up with Bryan, who even let me sample their new Gamechanger beer. Now, I'm not a drinker, but a little less than a shot glass full of beer is okay. I mean, the kombucha I drink probably has a higher alcohol content. I do not know what connoisseurs look for in a beer, but I will say that this beer was quite nice. Not very bitter, with no funky aftertaste. Did you know BWW's shows UFC & boxing PPV's with no cover? That's totally rad! Just make sure to get your derriere here early to secure your spot. He also enlightened me about their Blazing Wing Challenge - 12 wings in Blazing sauce in under 6 mins sans water/milk etc. I may have to accept this challenge sometime :)
My wings were packaged, bagged and ready for me to take home- Very good! First off, the wings are large! Double the size of Wingstop wings. The skin was nice & crunchy and the meat was tender & juicy. The Asian zinger sauce had the perfect blend of sweet & sour, w/o too much heat. The carrots & celery, dipped in Caesar, were crisp & refreshing. To reiterate, it was more of a meal than snack, even for this healthy eater.
Bottom line - I'm a fan of the wings at Buffalo Wild Wings. I much prefer them over Wingstop. Service was good & the restaurant was clean. Knowing UFC & boxing PPV's are shown w/o cover, I'm probably going to beeline here for the next big fight that interests me, a sauced wing in each of my grubby paws.
Highly...
Read moreMy wife and I stopped here on the night of 12/14/2023 at 12:30am. Walking in an employee let me know that we can sit wherever we wanted in the bar area and that we would be helped shortly. We sat there for over 15-20 min with no one helping us. In total there was only 4 tables that were being occupied, So I went up to the bar and let them know that we havenât t been helped and we couldnât order by phone since we only had cash. He then said we could still order thru the phone and someone would help us shortly, by this time it was already 1am and We were kind of in shock how all other parties around us were being approached, served and helped while we just sat there for over half an hour with nothing on our table.
The same guy that was at the bar was on the floor finishing taking an order from some guys that just got there so i approached him after letting him know if he could take our order, he literally said âwell Iâm actually done for the night so I canât take it but Iâll tell someone else toâ I told him thank you and that I appreciated it.
It was 1:15am and we were still not helped we didnât even get drinks water or anything. I seen a girl bartender with dark hair serve another table so I decided to politely get her attention by making eye contact and signal to her that we needed help. as we made eye contact she literally rolled her eyes and shrugged her shoulders as if she was mad or annoyed. As soon as she approached our table she said âWhat do you want?â We told her the situation and she replied âokaay so what do you want?â In such a rude way with her hand gestures and her facial expressions really made us feel uncomfortable. We were never given a menu or anything so we just ended up ordering 15 wings and a drink. When she came back with the drinks she threw the napkins on the table and let it be known that we were clearly a huge bother. She really seemed to not care about how she made us feel. (YOU CAN EVEN CHECK THE CAMERAS) My wife felt very uncomfortable and wanted to leave but I insisted not to since we waited so long and we were finally getting helped, which now I regret.
Finally after an hour or more of waiting we got our food but unfortunately the wings were cold. Of course in this situation we just decided to not even say anything and just deal with it. And the guy that told us he was done for the night was still on the floor helping people.
This has honestly been the worst unprofessional and rude service we have ever encountered. I couldnât get the names but I hope other customers donât experience what we did. We felt like we werenât wanted there by the employees actions and responses. Itâs unfortunate that it will be our...
Read moreI visited this place with my family on 12/22/2018 around 4pm, surprisingly the waiting time was only 15 to 20 minutes according to the hostess at the front, sure enough we where seated within 15 minutes of waiting. This is were the horrifying experience started. We waited at the table for over 25 minutes (more than we waited before being seated)until I finally decided to get up and find us a server. I spoke with one of the hostesses, she said "I'm sorry, I'll send someone right now". After almost 10 more minutes of waiting, I had to get up again and talked to this lady dressed in a black suit. She asked "which one is your table?" I then pointed at our table, then she said, "I'll send someone right away" 5 minutes later this guy came over our table with a pen and a paper. Never introduce himself, only asked if he can grab us some drinks. We told him our drinks and without giving us the chance to order food, walked away, like REALLY?? 7 minutes later (yes, we timed him)he came by with only two drinks, dropped them on the table and said nothing. Walked away again. After 5 minutes came back again with only one drink. (We are a party of 4 people). I already had enough, I wanted to just walk away. My cousin did not let me, instead he politely asked him to just please ring our food in, because we were ready to order AN HOUR AGO. Of course our food was taking FOREVER to come out. At this point one of the guys at the table next to us had to ask to speak to the manager, because they saw the whole thing since the beginning. Not to mention we were the ONLY table in the entire restaurant that was not getting any service. Manager came over, and just like the previous employee, did not even bother to introduce herself. I explained the situation and all she said was "I'm sorry about the inconvenience, we are very busy, I'll take care of it" almost immediately our check was dropped off with a 25% off. I don't care about your 25% off, we were expecting a better way to fix the problem, THIS one manager clearly has no clue on how to keep customers satisfied, after a horrifying service we had been experiencing the whole time. Not being acknowledge by not even ONE single employee, that's incredibly unbelievable. NEVER COMING...
