Sharing a review because a woman named Annalyn Wood's review is well...a lie.
I have followed this small business owner from her previous location. I am a customer when she is in her shop or at a show like Clover Market.
Lisa the owner is a go to for unusual gifts and one of a kind accents for my home. She sells high end artisan crafts, original art, reproduction, antiques and collectibles. Lisa is dead honest on where stuff is from and for her antiques and vintage pieces she knows the provenance of each and every item.
I have bought items for three homes over the years from Lisa. When you enter her store you are always greeted with a smile and a cheery hello. Lisa treats all customers beautifully which is why I felt I had to leave a review today.
The woman who wrote the unpleasant review came recently when we were weekend shopping. My friends and I love visiting Lisa. Always something to look at and great inspiration even if you don't buy something on one particular visit.
That Annalyn woman came in after us at the bitter end of the day. And the store was PACKED with customers. Lisa was waiting on everyone and answering questions and this Annalyn basically acted like she was the Queen of Something and HAD to be waited on THAT instant. Didn't matter that there were customers ahead of her, etc. This woman spewed out rapid fire questions on a slew of stuff and Lisa answered every question cheerfully and honestly. This woman found fault with EVERYTHING. Every price was too high, it was like she thought she was at a cheap garage sale at the end of the day. This woman was incredibly rude PERIOD. If it was my store I would have shown her the door. She didn't buy a THING and left in a huff. There should be a website devoted to ignorant customers just like her.
I forgot to mention how GOOD Brandywine View's prices are. And I can haggle. Whether at a show or in the shop Lisa prices fairly and honestly. She will work with people on price. She will bundle orders. Brandywine View Antiques is AMAZING.
I love the place enough that every time I am there I shoot Facebook live videos so people can see what is in stock then. Especially at Christmas! That store is a Christmas wonderland! And if you have something you are in search of she will keep an eye out. Not many do this any longer.
I am a regular customer and I appreciate...
Read moreWOW. I could have easily spent hours here so I am going back again, and most likely again and again. This glorious property houses three floors of absolutely magnificent pieces of antique and vintage artwork and craftsmanship that are one-of-a-kind items. From mirrors, fireplace mantles, linens, furniture, lamps, tools, baskets, books, and jewelry, this space carries anything and everything as can be seen by the authentic suit if armor that greets visitors upon their entrance. Don’t wait as long as I did for your first visit here. Thank you Sue for an informative conversation on Brandywine View Antiques and local historical surroundings. I’ll be...
Read moreAwful. Old, rusted can openers for $10. I'm sure since there is a sucker born every minute that someone loves overpriced trash that the garbageman wouldn't take, but I didn't want any of it. If you have money that you don't want to set on fire, but need a place to throw it away this is the store for you! Awful selection and embarrassing prices combine for a hilarious experience. You need to stop by for the est laugh you've had in a while. Or don't because it's awful. I have no idea how this place exists. If you like this store I have a basement full of treasures...
