We have noticed that this location has been getting progressively worse over past few years. We have been ordering from here for 6+ years now. In the past year, there have been more inaccurate orders, missing items, and wrong substitutions. The food quality isn't as good either, food is often cold or inconsistent. Many times ingredients are literally spilling into the bag.
A recent incident that made me finally submit a review.. We ordered a few items to go. We specifically mentioned at the beginning of the order that the entire order was vegetarian. We even specified on each item that it's vegetarian. One of the items was even from the veggie menu. When we brought order home, one of the items was missing and another was made with beef. Didn't noticed until a two bites in, because one half of the item had beans and the other half beef. We come from a cultural and religious background where we do not eat meat, especially beef. Religious/personal belief implications aside, as someone who has never consumed meat, this is very problematic and can cause serious health and digestive issues. This is highly concerning because this is NOT the first time this has happened.
When I called the store to talk to manager, he very nonchalantly just said "oh sorry, we had someone new" and when I mentioned this has happened before on multiple occasions he said "sometimes people make mistakes" - after I explained the whole background.. I then said "well if this is how you handle a situation that may be serious to your customer, I don't know what reason there is to come back" and he hung up. What a horribly unprofessional and unacceptable way to handle this situation.
We were already debating limiting our visits to this location, and this incident is the cherry on top of consistently...
Read moreWent thru drive-thru with my family (wife and 3 kids ages 4, 3 & 2) on Sunday, July 30 at 9:20 p.m. The kid that took our order was mixing in sexual suggestive dialogue while taking our food order within earshot of my kids. 'You want my bone in that chicken burrito or boneless?' he said a few times also 'I'm gonna hook you up and give you my D with that tonight, diablo sauce.' I played along with his act then drove to the window and made sure they had my order waiting before I hung my middle finger out where they all could see it and drove off without paying (almost a $30 order) and without our food. The staff looked like a bunch of 6th grade kids and they were playing on their phones and giggling amongst themselves. The black kid with the headset was startled when I gave them the bird and drove off. Damn worthless kids giving Taco Bell Chanhassen a bad name. Avoid this place, it's a very dirty restaurant with ignorant employees and who knows what they do to your food. Very...
Read moreIn a world where big corporations spend millions of dollars on advertising, to fail on the most basic level is very disappointing. I worked in the restaurant industry for 30 years. The most important premise is to always make the guest happy. That doesn't mean give away the store, but accommodating simple requests should always be a priority. I attempted to switch one flavor of cheese on an item, with another flavor of cheese, and was summarily charged for extra cheese. This wasn't an "in addition to" situation, but an exchange. The cheese I was requesting was actually cheaper than the one I was removing. Why charge extra? If I changed the flavor of the pop I ordered I wouldn't get charged, so why this. Corporate greed is so disappointing. I left, without the order, and the store lost a sale. Sales are what drives business, not extracting every penny out of the current sale. Repeat business is what keeps most business successful. Apparently Taco Bell doesn't...
