Dancing Crab — Restaurant in Texas

Music was a vibe - the atmosphere was a vibe … 1st impression was great. Booths are comfy they are like a Tempur-pedic no lie..

But then the server comes out and my hunch is always right. She was ready to walk away from the table not helpful at all.. even told her it was my first time there… she was just not a “server” … Husband ordered #1 (Shrimp for both choices / no head +$3) Flavor Dancing Crab sauce SPICY and his meal was a 5. The kitchen through down. I had the catfish basket and it was mid (3/edible) and I had to flavor the tartar sauce. Now this is where it get wild… this girl came around after damn near the whole meal and asked if we were good knowing damn well my cup was on my husband’s side of the table because he finished his drink and was thirsty and she’s no where to be found when she put in the dang order and knows the thing is spicy SMH… anyways… she took our cups and said “Grab your straws please” we look at eachother like is this chick for real? We’re sauce deep to our knuckles like huh??!! And my dumb self sure did grab the straws with my pinky’s LOL I COULDNT PUT THEM DOWN YALL I HELD THE DANG STRAWS and my husband put some napkins down for the straws to be safe … it gets better… SHE CAME BACK AND PUT MY CUP ON MY STRAW!!!! And RAN off like WHAT!??? I sure did call her back and OUT! Like chick you are crazy for that… no “sorry” she just said “Oh” and put 2 straws on the table and took off again. THEEEEENNNNNN the people at the other booth had complained about one of the meals and the MANAGER CAME BACK TO THEM WITH THE FOOD AND CALLED THEM OUT AND WAS SMIRKING LIKE “this looks eaten to me” and the guy was like bro I’m paying for my food but not THAT count what’s there and the MANAGER JUST LAUGHED like WHAT!??!!!!!! No sir…. Dancing crab needs a whole staff change (just not the kitchen...

This my 2nd time trying eating here and it was more disgusting than it was the 1st time. I'm not sure how they accomplished making a boil extremely salty and bland at the same time but they won a crown for it. My entire party which all had different things from the menu expressed how salty their food was. Only plus was the waitress was a sweetheart and this time there wasn't a pungent odor in the restaurant. I will not return here. Unfortunately, some friends wanted to give this spot a try so I came and tried something different in hope that I could change my review. NOPE! I tried the half and half and that was disgusting too. The batter was hard and burnt. The server (Jamie)got 3 of our orders wrong. My kid order the seafood boil with no crawfish. They still had the crawfish in the bag so I reminded him that I wanted no crawfish but to replace the crawfish for another thing of shrimp. He took the bag and never returned. We had to get a different server after waiting over 15 minutes who was very attentive (Michelle) she brought out the correct food but the bag only had 5 shrimp in it. This place truly needs...

The waitress was kind of friendly but had no clue what she was doing she brought the whole table but me my drink and she brought NO ONE STRAWS. I didn’t get my drink til the food came out she didn’t check on us she also left an entire order off when she put in for our food then she after CONFIRMING who had what on each ticket still put the WRONG food items on tickets then they wanted to charge me gratuity TWICE because of a mistake that THEIR WAITRESS MADE! That was the WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD BEFORE IN MY LIFE! WE WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN! Thanks for ruining my son’s birthday! The manager refused to correct anything or try to help the waitress so that she would not continue making mistakes! The way the manager acted and upheld his server while she was DEAD WRONG I’m convinced that they must be dating smh! Keep business as business! Whatever yall do outside of work is yall business but yall need to learn how to treat customers and take care of customers YALL ATE BEYOND SAD...
