University Florist — Local services in Chapel Hill

This flower shop went above and beyond for me. I had ordered some flower to be delivered to a local hospital. They did their part and delivered the flowers (which I imagine were beautiful). Some how the flowers got lost in the hospital so I called the flower shop to see what the next step was. Dave and Amanda took it upon themselves to help me and repeatedly called the hospital to locate the flowers, they didn’t have to their job was already done. I was so appreciative of them going above and beyond they are very loyal to their customers. Long story short the hospital never delivered the flowers I had ordered. I once again called the flower shop to let them know my flowers never got to the person I had ordered them for. They were apologetic gave me my money back and even offered to help me find another flower shop since the person who was suppose to receive the flowers got discharged home. I couldn’t thank them enough and so grateful for their loyalty and their amazing...

Henry is an artist. Flower arrangements are such a crucial, mood-establishing element of any wedding and my husband and I find typical displays to be technically beautiful but a little uninspiring. We have always admired the combined talent and playfulness of the University Florist team and were so excited to have them be a part of our special day.

After giving a little color direction, Henry got to work and we absolutely loved what he came up with: fresh, full arrangements bursting with color, texture, and visual interest. Each was packed neatly and carefully, with extra attention paid to details like bouquet and boutonnière wrapping, coordinating color elements, and making sure everything necessary was provided for safe and easy transport.

I don’t usual post reviews for average quality products, but I wasn’t very impressed with the bouquet I received today. I placed an order for a bouquet many days in advance and had a nice experience over the phone. I ordered a 45 dollar bouquet of pink roses and daisies since they said both were in season. They priced both flowers around 2-3 dollars per flower depending on the type. When I received my bouquet, I only got 5 pink roses and the rest of cheap white filler flowers. There’s no daisies, and the bouquet is flat/small. If the flowers looked healthy, I wouldn’t care nearly as much, but the roses are wilted. The white flowers are boring, too.
