True Lucia — Local services in Charleston

This place is unprofessional. I rarely write reviews and this one is especially heartbreaking because I've enjoyed buying things from this store for awhile. However, the past few days every time I would try to go in the front door would have a sign saying they were out but would be back. The other day the sign said they'd be back at noon. I waited until 12:30pm and no one came to open the store. Today when I walked up there was a sign that said they would be back in 5 minutes. I waited for around 20 minutes and no one came. Then when I came back an hour later they had a sign saying they closed early.. I understand that this store doesn't typically have a lot of staff working, however, it is still unprofessional and unfair to customers to lie about their hours of operation. Putting up signs to alert customers of their breaks is nice and all, but if they actually follow through and show up when they promise to then there is essentially no point. It's extremely...

True Lucia has become a go-to shop for all of my gift buying. I love that the owner and artist has screen printed everything in the store out of her home studio, her designs are all one of a kind and so creative. When you walk into the store it’s bright and colorful, the staff is very kind, and it’s filled with unique gifts made by the owner and other local artists in the area. It’s hard to visit and not end up leaving with something for yourself because the pieces are irresistible and affordable! You will leave feeling inspired. I am so happy this store is thriving in CHS. My Bestfriend and I were on a trip to Charleston and stumbled upon this cutie little shop and I am SO thankful we did ! We were desperate to find a cute affordable charm bar and bid did they deliver!! The owner was sweet as can be and helped us customize our necklaces and was so patient and helpful. We even got to chat with her and her husband who own the shop and they are such a sweet genuine couple who love what they do- it makes such a difference in a customer experience when you are encountering owners who are passionate about their store and creations.
