I have been a patient here for the past 18 years. It is very unfortunate that my amazing primary care physician, Dr. Ibe just retired. In her place is Dr. Kimberly Johnson, a brand spanking new doctor. At first Dr Johnson seemed to have great bedside manner and went over and above care - she would not refill a medication that I had been on for over 10 years without seeing me. I get it. CYA thing. However, my second visit was something out of a Jerry Springer show. I checked into the front desk and had the MA whom I've known forever take my vitals with no issues. My BP was high but considering my issue... in line. I was texting my sisters quietly in the room when Dr Johnson came in. She asked how I was doing as she sat down sighing. I thought it was unusual. She then proceeded to tell me how rude I was to the front desk and carried on while rolling her eyes. Is this what they teach in residency? I have several docs in my family who are appalled.
I'm a business person and a former engineer. When presented with a problem, I come up with 5 solutions. Just how my brain works. She had me so worked up that i told her I felt very uncomfortable sharing issues about my body when all of this drama is going on. I went to the front desk to ask what the main issue was. No one could tell me.
Don't tell me there's a problem, and when I ask what the problem is, everyone looks at each other. A horrible way to run a practice and I imagine, I'm not alone with this. I've never felt this humiliated in my life and not only that Stacy the supervisor or whatever she is carried on loudly about my medical history. That's a TOTAL VIOLATION of HIPPAA. AND The DOC stood right next to me listening without a word!!!
You simply DO NOT discuss a patients private medical history in front of everyone. I will follow up with the medical board. This is beyond nonsense. If you want to be humiliated in front of staff and your private medical history revealed to all that are listening and watching, then go to this place. Otherwise, RUN and find another practice. Not sure who the partners are here but this place is going downhill and fast.
18 years and NO issue. NEW doc and issue. Bravo! You guys sure know how to run a...
Read moreI took my mother here today and we had a great experience. From the time I made the appointment until the time we left the office there were absolutely no issues. The facility was easy to find and had plenty of parking. The office was clean and seemed very organized. The front desk receptionist was very helpful and friendly and set the perfect "1st Impression" for this facility. We arrived at 10;10, filled out paperwork until 10;20 and they called us back right on time at 10;30. Lillia, Dr. Rosenberg's nurse was very polite and respectful while checking my mothers pulse and blood pressure. When she was finished she said the doctor would be in shortly and sure enough, Dr. Dan Rosenberg came in within about 5 minutes. I sat back and observed as he spoke with my mother. He was courteous and polite and I could tell that he was really listening to my mother. He was not in a hurry, pushy or disrespectful in any way and I could tell that my mother was very comfortable around him. When he was finished he left the room and another nurse came in. She was also very polite and she went over the appointment summery that she had printed out, and said that Dr. Dan wanted to see her again in 3 months. She and my mom agreed on a date and time and the nurse (I wish I had her name) left and returned in short order with an appointment card and told us we were finished and could leave. I liked the way that all was completed in the room and that we didn't have to stop back by the front desk. Everything from the building, facility, doctor and staff I would give a 9.9 because I don't think there is such a thing as a 10! I would highly recommend this practice and I will be bringing my mother back for future appointments. Sincerely, Bob 9/29/16 PS I called my mother this evening and she said that she had a good time today, LOL. I have NEVER heard her say that after going to the...
Read moreDR. MATTHEW POPLIN is THE PHYSICIAN TO SEE!
Quit looking and book with him.
I am 55 and female. I like MALE doctors and he IS 'the man.'
He is thoroughly professional but he has a personality and a STELLAR smile and his body language communicates that he knows what he's doing but he has a way that put one IMMEDIATELY at ease. He SMILES and is warm.
He LISTENS. I could tell he's the kind of man who would rescue a 'dumpster kitten' if he encountered one. But you can tell he's a man's man as well.
He's not pretentious but hits the points and communicates EXPERTLY bc he has natural charisma and confidence but of course, he's still alllllll about his patient's needs. He asks GOOD questions and he pays attention to the answers.
ALL the staff is excellent. Personable and experienced. The phlebotomist. The nurses. The admin staff. ALL were top shelf.
Thee office interior is very nice. I waited only 3 minutes before being taken back.
I have had a fun life and still do and that appointment was my first, and it was FUN. No joke.
IF YOU NEED A GOOD YOUNG PHYSICIAN (PRIMARY CARE etc) who knows what he's doing AND cares about his patients as people, then Matthew POPLIN is who to see.
THERE IS NO WAY FOR ME TO RECOMMEND HIM ANY MORE HIGHLY.
SUPERLATIVE.
Thank you Dr. Poplin. I was soooooo worn out from looking for someone that was born with GOOD brain and heart.
The FOUR PCPs I saw before Dr. Poplin? They needed to go see the Wizard of Oz and ask for a thing or two.
THANK YOU AGAIN, DR. POPLIN!
YOU'RE MY FIRST PERFECT TEN. PLEASE DON'T GO...
