āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø Exceptional Service Worth the Visit
In recent years, itās felt like great customer service has gone extinct and many big brands have lost sight of the customer experience. But my visit to the Free People location on South Blvd. in Charlotte completely changed my outlook.
Iāve always loved the Free People vibe but had never actually purchased anything. When I finally visited this store, that was very clean and detailed, I wasnāt sure Iād find something that would fit rightābut from the moment I walked in, Cassie made me feel like I belonged. She took the time to show me new styles, shoes, and handbags, and introduced me to a brand I never thought Iād be able to wear. Every time I return, she greets me by name and continues to make my shopping experience personal and special. That level of care turned me into a lifelong customer.
Melanie went above and beyond tooāafter hearing me mention that a bag I wanted had sold out online (and wasnāt in-store), she called me an hour later to say one had just arrived and shipped it to me the same day. It even came with a handwritten thank-you noteāsomething you rarely see anymore.
And then thereās Morganāalways cheerful and ready to help, no matter how many outfits I dragged to the dressing room! She even brings additional pieces she thinks Iāll love.
Cassie, Melanie, and Morgan understand something so many retailers forget: I could shop Free People at other locations in the area, but I happily drive 30 minutes each way to see this teamābecause theyāve shown me I matter. Genuine customer service is the key to loyalty, and these ladies have earned mine.
Thank you ladies, Free People...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame here today during my lunch break, looking for a dress to wear to a wedding. Had 2 dresses on hold at Anthropology but wanted to check out Free People too, upon entering with my colleague I was not greeted by staff or interacted with in the slightest. I directly made eye contact with someone who appeared to be an employee and then ignored. The wedding is this weekend so I was definitely in a time crunch I looked at all the appropriate dress for a beach wedding found one that I liked and found my size. My colleague had a look on her face that read she also didnāt like the vibes we are both Black women. I asked her if anyone spoke to her upon entering the store and she said no. I put the dress back. Itās 2024 folks and if youāre still making black women feel excluded from your brand then you may need to do some internal soul searching. I work for the NBA Iāll be sharing my experience with my colleagues as far as this storeās location. I didnāt get the dresses at Anthropology either just due to fact theyāre owned by the same company. I did however have a wonderful experience at Madewell in the area, I suggest to anyone that you spend your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFree peopleās customer service has drastically declined. I am a loyal free people customer be side I value their merchandise but their customer service has been outsourced and is clearly incompetent. The last three orders I have received have been completely wrong. They have sent me wrong sizes, twice the merchandise I actually ordered and charged me for it and shipping times and inaccurate. This company is lying when it guarantees a shipping date and you will be lucky if when you finally receive the order it actually correct. They need to take a hard look at cutting costs by outsourcing to save money because they will be losing customers ad nauseum. Itās clear they are growing and looking to make the most profit at the expense of the quality of their products and their customer service. I trustworthy...
