2024: Three Stars. Previously, I posted a five star review of Perspire and it absolutely used to be. Similar to what other recent reviewers have mentioned, the service has declined over the past few months. At first, I looked past it because I thought maybe I just caught staff on a bad day; however, prices have increased and service has decreased. There are rarely essential oil towels in the suites now, which is a huge let down given how sweaty you are when you finish your session. While the studio is still clean, it lacks the extra cleanliness present when this location first opened. Most staff is noticeably less friendly and usually preoccupied visiting with friends or on their phones. They will always confirm your suite number, but begrudgingly. Bought a package of 20 during Black Friday and will not be renewing once I use my remaining sessions.
2022: Five Stars - Best infrared sauna experience in Charlotte! Started going when it first opened. The staff is always friendly & helpful. The facility is sparkling clean. Only thing I wish is there was one more towel included. Do yourself a favor &...
Read moreI am disappointed and feel very deceived .. I bought a gift card in December when the $80 for $100 gift card deal was going on because the front desk employee assured me I could use it towards a Perspire membership. Upon attempting to purchase a membership in January, I was informed gift cards can only be used towards merch and individual classes, and they simply apologized and said there was nothing that they could do. Nonetheless, I bought a pack of classes and scheduled my first session. I chose the room with the shower in advance, only to walk myself in the room and find that the shower was actually out of order (a warning would have been nice🥹). The sauna experience was nice other than the fact that my neighbor was playing the Kardashians at a volume level high enough to completely counter the relaxation feel— even though i was told by staff to ensure my tv volume was not too high. Overall a nice sauna but customer service is absolutely poor, and the employees are not well educated on the products / services they offer. Dreading using the rest of my pre-paid...
Read moreDrove 20 minutes to arrive at the sauna at 6:50 for my 7 am session. The door was locked at 7. I called at 7:05, no answer. I confirmed the store hours and appointment time.. no mistake. Tried emailing them a few minutes later. Finally heard back around 7:30 via email from Nicole that the studio still being closed was news to her, and that she would look into why no one had opened it yet. At 7:45, she notified me that the opener didn’t show up because they weren’t feeling well. I was told I would receive a concession for the inconvenience but Nicole never said what that would be. I followed up via email multiple times and called and left a voicemail before finally getting a response: Store credit for $20 and the world’s worst apology: “I’m sorry you were bothered by this situation.” … rather than “I’m sorry you were promised a concession and then ignored for weeks as you patiently and consistently followed up 1x weekly to inquire as to what the concession would be.” As someone who has worked in customer service, this is unacceptable. Training is...
