Angelo has the MOST incredibly amazing jewelry outside of NYC or any other highly sophisticated Urban area. I was visiting with friends and stopped by to just browse. Incredibly well curated, well chosen, modern - yet warm and imaginative pieces... Including those by the store owner himself. I have a short list and hope to come home with at least one of the 3 items I'm in love with. I'm not easily blown away as I feel most all stores have a large collection of production type items, but this small ' gem' in Charlottesville is one store not to miss. As I type this, I'm watching my new (to me) wedding ring catch the light and I'm smiling. The yellow and white gold band shines like it was just made despite the fact that it is very old. This jeweler took a ring that belonged to my new husband's grandfather and gave it a new life, resizing it seamlessly and polishing it to a mirror shine that I will enjoy for many, many years to come. We moved to Cville last year and I found this shop, so happy :), have 2 original necklaces from there. Just back today (9/27/16) for Christmas gifts for our 4 nieces.
