Nice store but horrible return policy! I bought several pieces of jewelry as Christmas gifts on December 20th. I went to return one piece today (15 days later) and all I could get was a store credit. Their return policy which is on the back of the slip that I did not see is only an exchange or store credit after 10 days!! So much for buying Christmas gifts there. I wonder how many days they were closed between December 20th and January 4th. They certainly were not open all 15 days! It would have been nice if the woman who sold the items to me stated their return policy. Yes it is my fault that I did not see the return policy on the back of the slip but I have never before purchased from a store with such a short return policy. Also beware their online prices are much higher...

Nice jewelry, not so nice saleswoman, unfair return policy. Christmas present bought in August, opened on Christmas, could not be returned nor exchanged even though we had the box and receipt. Saleswoman was inflexible and sarcastic. While my 84 year old mom struggled to produce the paperwork, the saleswoman said, “The operative word is ‘receipt’.” No apologies, no reasons beyond a strict 90 day policy (even for gifts). Not even a bid farewell as we left the store. Too many good to great jewelry stores on the cape to bother with this one....

I can not even tell you what a pleasure it is for me to be writing this review. East Wind Silver is such a special company. There are tons of jewelry stores on Cape Cod but none are as magical and have the spirit that East Wind Silver has created. John, the owner is incredibly knowledgable and if you tell him what kind of piece you're looking for he will move heaven and earth to make you happy. The pieces you find at East Wind Silver are so wonderful, creative, and original that you'll keep coming...
